Aside from ^ that one, none of the other posts where even remotely whining, or ratting someone out. All the other threads had people backing it because the person was either:

A. Spamming uncontrollably
B. Multiple accounts and sending e-mail threats to multiple forum members
C. Using innapropriate remarks which in turn (supported by the AT members) got him a vacation.

Instead of giving a name, like you did, you go ahead and tell a principle that there is a serious violation of school rules. Under no circumstances do you give any names. Hell, even give the principal the teacher's name. You can say you found an empty tin during study hours, for example. And I HIGHLY doubt you could get suspended for not telling anyone. You simply say you do not want to face the consequences of being a snitch.

All you told us is that you told one teacher, and nothing happened as a result of it.

Bullshit. "I'm going to get supsended." All you have to do is say you didn't know it exsisted. Just because you find something disgusting, doesn't mean that others do. From all the stuff you post in FI, its like you get your jollies from doing stuff like this.

Yeah, just dig myself in a hole and lie and say i knew nothing of it. Nevermind the ****** all over the floor. Never mind, they have already been caught once. Never mind they are persuading other kids to do it.

Additionally, i dont know a person who, at the sight of chewing tobacco spit, goes "MMMMMM YUMMY!!". I didn't tell on them because i thought it was disgusting. No i went to the NGOHQ forums after they had accused AT, wrongfully, of stealing benchmarks and information. I was banned without any reason other than politely saying that i respectfully disagree (and listing the points why).

Plus, I bet you're a proud snitch too.

Yeah, as i said earlier, you know me, i just LOVE pissing people off!

If they are typos then you have the most typos of anyone I've ever seen.

That or you are a horrible writer.

I'm guessing the latter.

Who needs to proofreed to caplitalize "I"?

That is a horrible practice to get into. Not using proper capitalization and punctuation can make you look like a complete moron.

This is a problem with this online generation. So many people think that oh well it's okay not to type properly in an IM or email or any computer-based communication. It's a slippery slope and eventually it will be harder to type properly when you need to.

But all of that aside...basically you are a whining, tattleing, sniveling baby man.

The whole thing about you telling that kid to "stop that ******* crap sometime this year" probably didn't happen the way you said it did. I bet that instead of him just cowering at that he probably told you where to stuff it and you probably sat back down and hid.

How about this. If you report a serious rules violation, and the teacher DOESN'T report it to security or the principle, SHE can lose her job. Nothing falls to you about it. And I guess you really didn't tell her very reluctantly if you don't feel bad about being a snitch.

And it wouldn't be lying if you simply refused to give a name, and said that you saw empty tins and dip on the floor.

I guess the only time you DON'T speak up is when someone in a position of authority might be able to do something to you. Otherwise you run your mouth, tattle, and complain to any authority you can.

Yes, the college accepted me despite all that. -_-

I do most of the time. Just sometimes, when i am typing fast i just forget about it.

You are talking to one of the only people who uses commas, periods, quotation marks, and apostrophes when talking on IM. As i said, sometimes when typing fast, you just forget about it.

But all of that aside...basically you are a whining, tattleing , sniveling baby man.

Ouch, I'm really hurting now. At any rate, i respectfully disagree.

The whole thing about you telling that kid to "stop that ******* crap sometime this year" probably didn't happen the way you said it did. I bet that instead of him just cowering at that he probably told you where to stuff it and you probably sat back down and hid.

Ok, i am a senior he is a freshman. Not only that i never said he cowered. He merely stared at me and sort of through the balloon off. All i said was that he didn't try to annoy me any more. I am not that menacing. I am only 5'7" 150lbs, not some Pro Bowl lineback.

I'm sure he's going to FPMITAP for doing that. Seriously though, most schools have policies (at least that I've had experience with) of zero tolerance for the use of or posession of tobacco products regardless of age. These kids are underage so what he did wasn't exactly the wrong thing, but it might have been unnecessary. In reality, I'm sure they're going to get whats coming to them later on in life if they think that sneaking chew into school is cool, so really complaining won't do any good in the long run, especially if they are arrogant as he seems to make them sound.

I suggest you relax Gamingphreek, it's better to ignore people that obviously are interested in trouble with you rather than try to spark a possible confrontation, especially when, at least based on my experiences, people breaking the rules might not have a problem breaking something else. Don't take other people's sh!t, but you don't have to be the moral police for everyone either. You'd be suprised where some people will end up due to their poor choices earlier on in life, and attittudes that tend to stick around longer than they should have. ;)

Yeah that would get me real far in a situation like this.

How about this. If you report a serious rules violation, and the teacher DOESN'T report it to security or the principle, SHE can lose her job. Nothing falls to you about it. And I guess you really didn't tell her very reluctantly if you don't feel bad about being a snitch.

As i said the teacher didn't do anything about it. And instead of pissing this lady off and making the situation more than it needed to be in front of the class i went and told another teacher. In the case where the teacher does care about her job, yes i completely understand you way, and would probably have done that, but the fact is this lady doesn't care at all.

And it wouldn't be lying if you simply refused to give a name, and said that you saw empty tins and dip on the floor.

Yes it is, i never saw empty tins. I did see dip on the floor. Additionally, there is such thing as "not telling the whole truth". I, before that class, had never seen dip before. I wouldn't know what it looked like before that.

I guess the only time you DON'T speak up is when someone in a position of authority might be able to do something to you. Otherwise you run your mouth, tattle, and complain to any authority you can.

How so? You aren't making much sense....are you angry?

Well...here we go.

I was a pretty stand-up kid at my schools. I wasn't much of one to get into too much trouble. I raised my share of hell now and then but overall I wasn't the type of kid you are describing.

I realized early on (and you should too) that there are those punks out there who will get away with murder for their whole life...but once someone like myself messes up slightly, we get nailed hard.

That's life. Learn it. Live with it.

If you don't like something...deal with it.

I've had my fair share of kids who would mess with me and try to get under my skin, but I'm very level headed and it takes quite a lot to do that. However...enough is enough and this one kid pissed me off one time. That's when I decided to reach out, grab him by the throat and slam him into the brick wall. I said nothing...started him down for a second and then kept on going. The guy never said another word to me ever again. See...I didn't go whining to the teacher and the problem was solved. That and the look on his face was priceless.

As soon as you get out of school...you won't really have anyone to go whine to.

Here is a quick solution to your problem with the tobacco kids: Sit in a seat farther away from them and ignore them. They are breaking the law...but that's not your problem. If they get caught by the cops or nailed by a teacher or whatever...they get what they get.

Kids will say things to do or do things just to get a rise out of you...just to get that reaction. Don't give it to them. Most teachers don't like snitches either.

The only time you should need to talk to the teacher about another student is if it's something serious. Example: You found out he brought a gun to school or other weapon and has threatened to use it. That is extreme though and not something that usually happens.

In AT and school, you complain like a whiney little brat.

At your work, you bend over and take it in the bum because you "don't want to get anyone mad." I think you're actually afraid of standing up to your bosses like a man because you're afraid of the consequences.

I'm the angry one? I remember you calling me Asshole of the Month in this thread.

Look i dont get into fights. Me yelling at that kid, was about the most extreme thing i have done. I see what you are saying completely, but that just isn't my style. Plus, i am betting you are probably more menacing than I :p. I am strong (bench more than my own weight, and athletic) but i joke around far too much to be taken seriously. On top of that i dont look at all threatening.

As soon as you get out of school...you won't really have anyone to go whine to.

And believe me i have taken it at work. A girl who i was taking to prom, was being harassed by a manager (sexually). That was the closest i have ever come to beating the living ****** out of someone. Instead, because i cared for this person, i went and told her brother who also worked there. THe manager kept pulling ******, and finally her brother went off on him, and the entire management backed him. The manager was later fired.
Believe me, i can determine the severity of the situation (I would have told the GM, but my friend didn't want to start anymore problems)

Kids will say things to do or do things just to get a rise out of you...just to get that reaction. Don't give it to them. Most teachers don't like snitches either.

Im an average guy. I joke around and make fun of my fair share of people. My friends and i joke around just the same.

You are talking to one of the only people who uses commas, periods, quotation marks, and apostrophes when talking on IM. As i said, sometimes when typing fast, you just forget about it.

Yet I think you've used an entire one apostrphe throughout this entire post.

I type very fast...like 70CWPM. With correct punctuation most of the time. Save for my overuse of elipses...but hey.

Oh and about the college accepting you...what college? Most will pretty much take anyone.

Virginia Tech...and Most colleges will not just take anyone. I dont know where the hell you live, but it is damn hard to get into good colleges.

I do it too. Just the stream of consciousness throws me off. Sometimes i think to use them, sometimes i dont.

You know, if you aren't the asshole of the month, then why dont you prove your integrity and post what Odin and Leper have. Both of them seem to have managed to bring this down to a civil discussion, why do you feel the need to constantly flame me.

I did, and yet you continued to throw insults at others and make snide comments. Why don't you take your own advice?

Also, I take pride in being called an asshole by a no-good snitch.
