She's definately nuts. But crazy chicks are good in the sack, so hit it. And then cry when she sends you her cell phone bill and has her brother slash your tires.
 
Sounds like she has a crush on you, but isn't sure what to do about it. She also sounds a little whacky, so you may be getting into a lose/lose situation. But you know her better than we do, so go with your gut feeling.

Maybe you just need to tell her that she scared you with that "would you care" thing. Ask her if she's considering it, or if she's just testing you. Just deal with that for now, and don't make any other decisions until you see where it goes.



 
From what you say I'd think you are both very young. She's obviously got a huge crush on you (the cat and suicide parts), but there's something about her that doesn't make you feel the same way. She's obviously just shy enough to not ask you out. You seem to have your own set of problems for not talking about this to her. Instead you come to us seeking advice based on a short story. I'm sorry, we aren't there to see what's actually happening so can't really give you a decent answer.
Do what PaulNEPats and LordMorpheus suggest. It's the surest way of finding out...

I do have my own problems to worry about, and I don't really have enough time RIGHT NOW to worry about her being in love with me or not. Our cats are messed up, things aren't going right in school, we kinda have a family crisis, so I'm just preparing for what comes down the road.
I was kinda expecting her to cut herself or something to draw my attention, but I never expected a suicide 'threat'. I might wanna be with her, but as the current situation is, and it might change in an instant, I don't really feel like being with anyone right now. Maybe I'll be ready in a week, maybe it'll take a month, but I'll get ready when I'm ready.

In short; things is real fscked up right now.

I knew a girl that asked me if I would care if she died. She mainly said it to be an attention getter, and she was a real attention whore...

psycho chicks are great too but they get clingy(er) after you have sex with them.

She knows that my cats are not okay, and I think she wanted to cheer me up a bit, but horribly failed.. She doesn't really know me (unless she's been stalking me :Q), but I think that when given a chance, we'll get to know each other better.

Not thinking of sex, though (actually, that's all that's on my mind, but it's none of your bussiness 😛), I'm only 14. 😛 She just turned 15.

 
Still waiting for a pyscho poll option! I too was wondering how old you were while reading this, if this is highschool... then it might be so bad. But I'll assume it's college becasue of the cat thing, maybe early college. I suggest you take caution, maybe hang out casually and see if she really is pyscho before moving any further.

Edit: Oh, 14/15!!! That it explains it then. Nevermind then - highschool is stupid and this is why.
