those are great gifts. i don't know why you're complaining.

I know that they're awesome gifts. I'm just saying, I might find more use with something else.

If she did the same thing to you, you would probably kill yourself. Am I right?

I bought her a purse, she didn't like it, so I gave her the receipt so she could return it and get what she wanted. I have no qualms about people returning stuff to get things they rather want.

Are you seriously comparing a purse to Oakleys, a 30GB iPod, and a PSP? Maybe next time you should just ask her for cash.

The purse cost about equal to all those things combined.

I could see where she would be offended. What is needed here is a good heart-to-heart conversation about gifts and mutual financial goals, etc.

It doesn't sound like he's concerned with their financial situation. It sounds like she just isn't getting him the toys he wanted.

For the most part, it just depends on how she feels about it.

As with all these YAGT's, there isn't enough information. Strangers on ATOT aren't relationship gods.

If she doesn't care, then its not a big deal. If she is offended, then your a dick. Simple as that.

Why don't you get a real job that pays so you don't need to sell everything you own to buy something else?

Yes, if I was going out with you I'd stop buying you anything. For one thing those are great gifts.

Damn though who's girlfriend drops $250+ on an PSP for them? I don't spend that much on mrsskoorb's birthday.

lol. I should use that.

Man, those gifts I would want. Even if I didn't need them. In fact...mrsliquidblue...has given me some gifts that I loved and others not so much (which I use anyway because I don't want to make her feel bad + they're not terrible gifts). When it comes to fashion, any man should know you go to buy a purse with her.

Man, I bought my GF a nice fairly expensive purse and we almost had to return that thing because the strap was too long, but after some careful observation, i doubled the strap and tada perfect length...that was a close christmas

Come on money bags, lets hear if you spend more on her or your car.

Tom

I promised to take her to a Tiffany store and buy her 2 bracelets because I don't want to make the same mistake so I'll just let her decide. We haven't had a chance because our schedules haven't allowed us to go to South Coast Plaza or Century City Mall (the only shopping centers with Tiffany stores in our area).

She's been playing World of Warcraft on my account so I told her that I'll buy her a new video card and more ram and buy her a 6 month subscription for her own account.

And I'm planning a trip to Vegas in May because she just wants to get away from the local area.

In reality, I guess I haven't bought her much stuff recently, just promises to do so.
