Here's the story...

For Christmas my fiancée bought me Oakley sunglasses which were about $125 since I lost my pair. I asked her to return it because I rather save up and use that money and buy a TV and I was sure I would be able to find my old Oakleys.

For my birthday, she bought me a 30GB Photo Ipod because I wanted to use it in her old car since the cd player wasn't in working condition and I was selling my car. I have thought about it and am not sure if I really need the Ipod so am thinking about selling it.

For our anniversary, she just bought me a Sony PSP and I don't think I'll use it as much. Its nice and all but the only games I've been playing are on the computer and my Xbox. So I'm thinking about telling her to return it because I want to save up for a laptop computer.

Am I an ungrateful dick?

Well, when I give someone a gift they aren't sure they want, I'd rather they return it and get something they *really* want or need. It wouldn't bother me, but some people are overly sensitive about those kind of things.

I bought her a purse, she didn't like it, so I gave her the receipt so she could return it and get what she wanted. I have no qualms about people returning stuff to get things they rather want.
