Everyone is telling me that i'm not cut out for this, apparently im too nice. My friends think i should go for that sh1t, since she is clearly interested. They think that not flirting now would just be stupid, "put the flirting on the afterburners and grow some balls", thats a resounding motif in my friends opinions. Seems like a good idea to me, moving on just because she started dating a guy doesn't mean i'm totally out of it, does it? The problem is if I ask her out right now its a definite no, but she might be more inclined to end it with her current BF.
Asking her out now is out of the question, because there is absolutely no outcome that is going to be in my favor.
1 - We are great friends and I don't to risk the friendship(friendship turns weird out of awkwardness/i never get another shot).
2 - Sorry im already going out with someone...(everything changes, i pretty much have to stop flirting now).
3 - Reserved generic illogical female response.
So, opinions? Advice? Should I act like her BF doesn't exist and keep doing what i'm doing? Whats the worst that can happen, she could tell me to stop, but thats not so bad, because I could play it off like I was just messing around...
