Other than a collectable antique... Why would you ever own a gun without the intent to shoot it. It doesn't do anything else. It has no other purpose.

For me it would be as a toy (deactivated) I'm looking for a fun, metal, toy.

fuck off and die. if i actually gave enough of a fuck to report your ass for your stupid flamebaiting troll thread i would, but telling you to fuck off and go choke on your own cock will suffice.

Take some time to cool off - again.

Hal is absolutely the best troll I've ever seen. Across irc, isp chatrooms, multiple forums etc etc etc no one else has consistently trolled the way he has.
What he lacks in skill, he makes up for in sheer volume. :\

He will never match the greatness and entertainment value of a master troll like TFP.

TFP was genuinely funny. HAL's merely annoying.

none of this explains why they are so expensive

this reminds me of that scene in lock stock and two smoking barrels with the "replica" pistol DE .50

that makes so much more sense now

I don't really know in all honesty, I assume it's probably the import / deactivation side of things that adds the price. That being said are they alot more than active guns?

Guns are not toys, nor should they ever be treated as such. Anyone who thinks this way has no business owning a gun. If you want a toy, buy a toy gun.

What exactly is the difference between a deactivated gun and a replica toy gun other than one being legal and the other being illegal in the UK?

holy shit, thats like $600 US. You buy a real working one for less than that here in the US.

TFP was direct and honest, while trollish he wasn't here simply for the enjoyment of pissing everyone else off.

how the fuck is a toy gun illegal but a real deactivated gun is legal? That makes no sense.

stop trolling. you'r allowed to troll any and all gun thread you see but when you make one, we can't say anything about your obviously hypocritical bullshit?

You should get the most realistic one you can find and go point it at the police. :awe:

Seriously for me £80 isn't massive for import + deactivation. I found an AK47 for £145 is that reasonable?

I did some research and I found that the model PPK you are looking at is actually seems to run over $1000 for a working model in the US.

New manufacture PPKs are around $500 and up, depending on model.

but still, buying a deactivated gun to "play with" for $600 is beyond nuts imo.
