Not a specific example, but that's the sort of thing i would get. Well, she's been using google, apparently "google is [her] friend".....she found my personal website, that's good, i want people to go there(haven't updated in years though), my yahoo profile, and then she found Anandtech. :Q
I don't know how long she's been lurking reading everything i read, and hanging around, but she had AOL before, so she could not post. Well, now she's got an account here. I'd be happy for her, since AT is a great place, BUT the sole reason she joined here was because i exist here. She frequents no other forums, is not into computers in the least, and now she's here. It's scary, WHY is she doing this? Why me? It seems she has a weak sense of self, and clings to others. I know what thats like since I once did that too for a short time in adolecence. At any rate, what can i do? I don't mind talking to her, but she needs to be more social, and talk to people more.(though i do realize some people simply have problems with that type of thing). Is this something that can be solved? What do i do now? Thanks for your time.
CLIFF NOTES: Girl i'm "friends" with has started following me constantly. What do i do?
1. You will know right away if she likes you. She will flirt with you, tell you she finds you attractive, and touch you when it is not necessary. I have yet to meet one of the really pretty ones that was shy. But if she is shy(ugly to mildly attractive), one of her friends will let you know shortly after you have met her.
2. If you can't tell if she likes you, she doesn't.
3. If you can't tell if she likes you, do not make friends with her. It will only push you farther away from her p*ssy. She will want to discuss her boyfriends with you. Making friends with a girl that does not feel the same way about you as you feel about her will only end up hurting you very badly.
4. Do not put yourself in a situation where she is in control. I mean, if she dosn't like you, don't let her know you like her. She will begin to manipulate you and lie to you, and in general f*ck up your head. She will always make it seem like there is a slight chance you could be together, but not right now. This is the worst position you can be in, and will only end in you not feeling good enough.
5. Do not be caring, sensitive, and kind. Be unforgiving, apathetic, and cruel. Make her think you could protect her, not sympathize with her. Notice how assholes always have hot girlfriends? It is because girls like assholes.
6. As soon as you know she likes you, make your move. She will not wait until next week for you. Try holding her hand, or putting your arm around her and see how she reacts.
7. Be very straight forward, don't dick around. You have to spell things out for girls because a lot tends to go right over their head. Tell her exactly how you feel about her.
8. Maybe means "Only if the guy I like dosn't call me.", or "I don't like you but I want to keep you as a friend so I can continue to recieve your special treatment."
9. Girls will never down right turn you down. They want you to stick around until you have lost your usefullness. And then, they will break off contact with you.
10. Girls will lie up and down until they are absolutely caught red handed. And then they will still lie as much as possible to get themselves out of it. Learn to detect when a girl is lieing by her body movements and tone of voice. They can look you straight in the eye and lie to you.
11. If you have to choose between two girls, i.e., the hot one that is untrustworthy, a compulsive liar, has serious emotional disorders, and makes you feel bad, or the one that is just average or cute but you get along with, there is only one solution. Get the hot one wasted(Xanax + Smirnoff Ice = Guaranteed), hit it, and then quit it. She will want to start a relationship with you in the morning. You must resist, because that is the path to misery. Let her suffer for all the guys she has made suffer. And then, start a great relationship with the other one.
12. If she will leave her current boyfriend to hook up with you, she will do the same thing to you. Stay away from these girls. Unless, of course, you just want a piece of ass. Then get out of there.
13. If you are already friends with her, and she dosn't like you, stop showing her special treatment immediatly. She will not stick around for very long at all.
14. If she's younger than 23, then she's most likely confused as hell. Girls who are older than that with a career oriented/related job usually know what they want.
