Some of their free shipping promos were not working earlier also. PSA's site sounds like it is having some trouble adjusting.

Went out groundhog hunting again this evening with my dad.
Didn't see anything until we were about to leave and we saw one about 400 yards out in the field. Actually, dad saw it. he must have eagle eyes because I had trouble seeing it even with magnification.

I took 3 shots at him before he went into some high grass. 1st shot not sure where it landed (probably low), 2nd shot was a foot in front of him, and couldn't tell where 3rd shot hit but that's when the hog went into the weeds, so we assumed it was close.

Never shot that far before. 100 yards max. I don't have a BDC or mildot type reticule on my scope so it makes it hard to gauge holdover, especially that much (about 27" from what I found online for my ammo).

I don't even know of any ranges around here that even go out that far.

Holly smoke, most of the AR15 uppers are sold out on PSA except the ones that are $500 or higher.

All AR15 Lowers (completed ones) are sold out, every single one of them.

The panic buy is here.

The doomsday scenario is upon us, a HRC POTUS, the SC going liberal, and if the turnout for POTUS voting is big, a power change in congress.

Get them while they're hot. :\

I ordered a couple of Spikes forged uppers the other day, will swap them out on the AR's I keep.

One store sold 30,000 of AR15s in just one week since the shooting. One store in one week.

http://www.foxbusiness.com/features...ells-30000-ar-15s-since-orlando-shooting.html

Multiply the number of stores around the US plus the internet stores = HUGE number of AR15s sold.

Get them while they are hot indeed.

Wish I was in the consumer arms dealing business. They must love it every time a crazy fuck goes on a rampage.

Yup. Everything about the AR15s are going up in prices from most if not all the well know vendors. From complete guns to uppers, lower, bcg/ch, ammo, magazines. Everything. Look like Cheaper Than Dirt is not alone in jacking up the prices this time.

HRC will act like she has a mandate to ban AR's and perhaps she has....

It's going to be a rough ride, stay strapped in.

Not so much the terrorism in Orlando as the 4 bills being voted on tomorrow and the case going before the Supreme Court

The 4 bills will fail, who knows what the court will do.

is anyone here a member of 1911forum.com?
Can you see if there is an email address or way to contact someone for technical support?
I used to be able to post there but after I changed my password, it no longer lets me post.
There is a contact us link and I fill out the form, but when i submit it, it takes me to a screen that says I don't have permission so not sure if my form even goes through.

I haven't heard back from anyone either.

PM me your username there or post it if it's the same as here... No email, but I can pm them for you.

I belong to most of the big gun forums.

Did you see the Supremes allowed the states AWB to continue?

The cracks in the wall get just a little bigger 🙁

All of CA's proposed bills are one stop away from the gov's signature now. D:

damn hell, this weekend i found a crack in my carbon 15 where the buffer tube screws in. got a stripped lower from psa for 112 from a local guy, i guess that was a good deal now?

Wish i had a little more cash to just buy a few lowers for future use.

Not really.

You can get a stripped lower from PSA for $80 (used to be $50 or so) plus shipping plus FFL fee.

You can still buy AR15 lowers (stripped and completed) from PSA but the prices are higher now, $30 higher for stripped and $40 higher for completed and you do not get free shipping as it used to be.

I think we'll see the prices creep up across the board till November, then a big jump after the election, and more price creeping till they actually ban some guns.

I picked up a couple stripped lowers because of this. One will be the wife's precision build, unsure what to do with the other yet. Going to have to start ordering parts sooner than I anticipated.

80 + shipping and ffl will be close enough to 112 i think. local guy is not making bank on them.

Let see, for me, $80 plus $9 S/H plus $15 FFL = $104. You can save a few bucks ($8) or about one box of 20 rounds of .223/5.56.

That's why I ordered a few uppers and lowers right after the shooting in FL. The prices were lower and free shipping included. Cheap brass .223/5.56 ammo was $5.99 per 20 rds box and now it is $6.29 per box. Everything else about AR15 is up, the cheap 30 rds metal mag was $6 and it is $9 now. Yike.

I have never shot a .223/5.56 before, never even held one. Thinking about getting one to see what all the hoopla is about.

Anyone familiar with the Mossberg MMR?
Any thoughts on it for a newbie?
How would it compare to a .30 carbine or a SKS?

.

Are you thinking of a range toy, self defense, hunting?
