Ahhh sorry im still a new 🙂. I plan on assembling my lower tomorrow and I'm still waiting for my upper to ship from PSA unfortunately so can't yet

You can still assemble your lower and function check without the upper.

I assumed you got that PSA bolt carrier group in a combo with the upper receiver. Did you order it separately?

It was part of a combo kit with my lower build kit:

this one

I'll try to assemble the lower tomorrow (hopefully work is shutdown 😀) I'm so excited I'm about to wet my pants 😀 I'll post pics of the build as it goes.

Is the equinox just asthetics? It looks really cool.

Yes. Fiber green night sights and two tone slide brush polish and nitron. Blackwood grips. I don't care for 40 sw so when I saw a 9mm at my LGS I bought it immediately. I guess someone at sig accidentally threw in 9mm slides instead of 40sw on one or two runs.
Sadly the equinox is only for 40sw except for the errant run they made on p226. No such error was made on p229 AFAIK.

For 699 i would have bought one without a second though. ~300 bucks cheaper than you can get it online (factoring in transfer fee and shipping)
Erm, no. These show up online often for $799 (add $50 for shipping/transfer).

$699 is still an excellent deal on the P226 Navy, but it's not a $1000 gun. $1000 is what an Elite Stainless goes for.

I have no idea why, but the two sell for about the same. The Navy is a good gun buts its just a 226 with an anchor.

I had a 226 navy I bought from a friend who needed money for a different purchase. Got 6 mags with it for $450. I ended up selling it. Sig pistols just aren't for me. That said it really isn't different from the standard 226 aside from the anchor as mentioned and it comes standard with the nitron finish which is Sig's standard hard wear black. My buddy got sold on it because it was "the sidearm that is used my navy seals". Which means very little in reality as the seals have many choices depending on the mission.

Marketing makes bank against those that don't have a clue.
