Just got back from the local fedex store. Shipped off my 9mm ar in exchange for some usps money orders worth $1900. I kind of miss it, but oh well.

As I mentioned earlier, out with the G17, in with the G34.

Also picked up this Mossy 500 pump:

Bonus - it was apparently ladies night, so my wife shot free. Cheap range time FTW.

My wife and I went to the local indoor range tonight. Over the course of an hour, she got three instances of hot brass down the front of her shirt.

Her most current thinking is that low cut shirts may not be the best apparel for the range.

I ordered a bunch of gun stuff today. I got a new Streamlight TLR-4 coming for my Glock 30, and a Streamlight TLR-1s HP for my BSG beretta Cx4 Carbine. I have wanted to tinker with those new high power TLR-1s for rifles, so that will be interesting.

I also picked up a Hornet Custom trigger group for my blue 10/22. Advertises 2.5lb trigger pull or less, and is half the cost of a Volquartsen or Kidd trigger group, so it will be interesting to see how well it works. If it goes well, then I will get another one for my take-down.

Also bought one of these on Amazon to put on the new P22 - http://www.viridiangreenlaser.com/walther-p22-laser-sight

Gah, been wanting one of those. I decided that before I get one I'd get ammo and the 10/22, though. Putting 18-19 rounds in a mag by hand takes a while, gets annoying, and messes with my fingers lol.

Doing it by hand saves money. Less actual shooting time.

Classic; dude posts picture of his shotguns with a few rounds, next guy posts picture of his shotgun with way more rounds. 😛

Been looking for a 10/22 everywhere. None in stock anywhere near me. I guess I could have driven an hour and a half and picked one up (that may have still been in stock) at a walmart that sells them (ours doesnt sell firearms), but that seemed way too far.

There are two at my local ace hardware, one of them is a pricier fancy one with a carbon fiber barrel and a bunch of volquartsen parts, and the other is a basic carbine - but in a hideous realtree camoflage all over it.

Is there a reason you alternate the direction of the shells on your bandoleer? Just for looks?

Wife and daughter have both had hot brass in the bra. We (men) really like the view, but ladies, cover up at the range.

You also want to make sure brass won't go into a shoe or boot by making sure pants are over the shoe/boots. I also wear a ball cap as the bill keeps brass from going between my face and glasses.

Even found expended brass in the washing machine, and not a clue where I carried it home.

My wife has the unfortunate gift of an amazing rack. I have to make sure the twins are protected from hot brass anytime we go. Of course, Tuesday night, she decided to wear the boots. Thankfully, nothing fell in those (this time).

Has an aimpoint, Surefire M900, 1/2" riser on the foregrip and a blackhawk 3 point sling. I want to upgrade the aimpoint to a micro H-1 at some point, but that one does the job.

I got my order from SGAmmo for my 4 bricks of 22lr of CCI yesterday. I am not happy with it though. The 4 "bricks" of CCI were in a cardboard brown shipping box. The brown shipping box was perfectly fine and undamaged. I opened the box, and looked at the 4 boxes of CCI ammo in there. 3 looked to be in perfect condition. The fourth one was smashed to hell. Bullets were pulled of their casings, gun powder was everywhere, and I am a bit pissed now at SGAmmo for shipping that box to me. It's obvious that someone on their side put that smashed box of CCI in with the rest of my shipment. It was NOT something damaged during shipment to me as no other CCI boxes were messed up nor was the outer brown shipping box damaged in any way. I'm not even sure if the other rounds from the other 3 boxes of the CCI are safe to shoot with how the gun powder from the 4th box got everywhere.

I sent them an email bitching about it.

Just got my 4 bricks which looked like they were shipped in the box they originally came in as the fit was too perfect. However, there was blue stuff everywhere, it looked like the box possibly got wet and the color off of the cartons bled all over the place. The inner boxes also bled everywhere and the nasty blue stuff gets on your hands immediately if you touch any of the boxes. I don't know about the ammo itself, it seems fine with the normal lead marks everywhere from it rubbing around, but the whole possibly wet thing has me a little worried.
