The situation between me and my crush was odd. First, I was dating when I met her. Then she was dating. Then she broke up with her then bf and I would console her but couldn't hit on her because i didn't want to be "that guy" during her time of need. Then we lost touch, now we're kinda talking casually and she invited me to her birthday. I haven't seen her in person for over a yaer.

But, yeah, i don't think my trick will work, but it'll be a fun acting exercise, i guess.

Hope you're happy admiring her from afar forever... you probably missed a prime opportunity right there. "That guy" is usually the reason most men in your position stay in that position.

Oh, I've become a scumbag lately. I don't mind being that guy! But, with her, it'll be rough. I mostly want to tease her -dress up well, look nice, and show up with a nice girl. I don't seriously think she will swoon and go out with me.

That's exactly what Im going to do - i'm really not stressed about this and am doing it more as a prank than to get anywhere with the crush. She's just a crush, after all. It'll be fun and if my neighbor's really acting the part, maybe I'll get a free kiss out of it 😉

Nope, not true. Well, I do think my neighbor is more attractive on the surface but we've become good buddies and I love her, as a friend. She's also not my "type" personality wise. I like darker, more mysterious girls.

If i wanted to hang out with her I Would just ask her to hang out. She came over to watch the simpsons and eat cereal yesterday. we're friends, I don't have to lie to her.
