Sounds to me like she's an attention whore. A decent girl would drop a douchebag boyfriend before having to call you about it. As it stands, she gets lots of positive attention from you for her situation. Plus, what boyfriend would stand for their girlfriend staying over at another guy's house?

Be prepared for you to take this guy's place if you two become an item.

That's pretty cold. However, I do think you are setting yourself up for heartbreak here. Usually girls in relationships such as the one that you described with her boyfriend have issues they need to get over. Usually with someone else.

I might be wrong, and I hope I am. I'm just saying that you shouldn't plan the wedding just yet.

Well, as many have said... You should just stay as a friend, as hard as it may seem, until she is completely done with him. Don't give her the option to cheat on her boyfriend....Also, I like the firs tpost to this topic...You might want to consider it

I don't know if you've ever heard of the ladder theory, but my man, you're at the bottom of the ladder. You've got to rough it up a notch, if you want to get here. That's how women are. Keep being nice and going to the park, and you'll end up being nothing more than a friend.

The ladder theory is funny and all, but sometimes I think you guys take it a bit too seriously.

I'm surprised the OP is posting YAGT, since he seems to be more competent in the field than most people who do so. I'd say things look promising in his future, though he SHOULD make it clear to the girl that he's not going to stick around for the table scraps if she keeps dating the loser boyfriend.

I've asked and heard a lot of advice from guys and everytime I talk to close girl friends about said advice, it ends up being bullshit. I dont trust a god damn word any guy says, unless he's gay. Guys give the worst advice ever, and this "friend zone" stuff is a load of elephant dung. If a girl will only start a relationship(friend or otherwise) with a first date, she's more than likely going to need to check her day planner to fit you in. To each his own.

just be ok with it when she does the same thing to you

I strongly support this reply.

Also, it's totally wrong to go after another guys woman. If she's getting treated like crap, thats her business, not yours.
Couldn't agree more. If your plan succeeds I hope you wind up in the same situation as her previous boyfriend so you know how it feels.

she's using you to make him jealous you tool

Yep!!

What I was tyring to illustrate with my stupid sotries is that I DID THE SAME THING TO HER!!!!!

She leaves her boyfriend for me, then when she moves out, I ended up not calling her back, and the last words I heard from her: "can I see you?"

It's not a fairy-tale ending but that's how it works. I knew she was using me, so I used her while she was using me. She lived with her boyfriend, so I had every right to be with the other girl I was with. That's a good deal especially when 1 of them looks so fine.;)

I remembered this from a movie and it makes perfect sense.

"Let her actions be your guide".

She will show you the way...

Enjoy the ride...bucke up your seat belts, it might get a little bumpy.
