I'm bitter sweet about the whole thing. I'm glad that I'm that one person she decided to call but now know that I have absolutely no chance with her. But I feel like I did the right thing, as frustrating as that is.

Okay now that my heart's beating again, I'm actually quite surprised at the quality of the update. I didn't think many people like this existed anymore. It actually got a physical reaction out of me being my eyes popping out when I expected to read "omg I banged her and she was so ugly but I like sluts since I'm god's gift to women" and was let down in a big way.

i'll back you up here. I am the type that ends up in the friend zone as well, but it's a zone that I am comfortable with. I currently have a very attractive blonde friend, and being asianthis is a very odd thing in the first place (don't see too many asian guys + blonde girls around here). I wouldn't even want her as my girlfriend or fvck buddy because I know how manipulative she is when it comes to boyfriends, and combining that with my personality, I know it would be a recipe for disaster. I have no problems being her best asexual friend because I know she'll always put me before any of her idiot playthings. Is there a sense of jealousy? Of course, they get something that I can't get. Of course, I also get something that they'll never have as well.

I think you just put it a bit harshly gigapet in your original post. Yeah he didn't get laid, but not every man's intention going into a situation like this is to get laid. Sure I could've easily gotten my friend drunk when she was down, but there are benefits and consequences to that, and in the end some people feel as though the consequences outweigh the instant gratification of sex. I think the statistics show that this relationship, from a sexual standpoint, is fvcked. You'll never get a girl if you're always just trying to be the shoulder to cry on. But just like how girls look for different type of men, men look for different types of girls as well. Girls that will be there for them, and girls that they can fvck and forget.

edit: basically what it comes down to is this. You chose to go this direction with this particular girl. But don't make the same mistake of doing this with every girl, because many of them are very shady, do have alterior motives, and are looking just to fvck.

true for the most part. There are some girls that appreciate men who are willing to be in the friend zone of course. And this does have some benefits. The girl that i'm really good friends with is much more valuable to me as a friend. She scouts girls for me and is able to hook me up with people she knows, so its like the best of both worlds, a best friend, who even though she wont let you fvck her, understands your needs and actually helps you fullfill them indirectly

Almost everyone I know is like "dude she aint married so she's fair game" and "dude who cares if she's married, if she puts out you should nail it harrrr!!" :roll: I find it disheartening that men do not respect women anymore and vice versa. I find it atrocious that so few people actually respect another's committment to someone else, no matter how small or weak that committment is. She's taken? Leave her alone. Back off and don't get closer than friends. It's just... the gentlemanly thing to do and I hardly ever see it anymore. If all of your friends think this way and actually have the balls to practice what they preach when put in that situation (not that they'd get into it to begin with), then I'd say you're pretty lucky to have found people who's heads seem to be screwed on straight for a change. :thumbsup:

thats my point really. A man doesnt sit there and talk about puppy doggs and fairytales. A man is there to make her feel secure and to of course hit her off when necessary (im not refering to wife beating here). A pvssy on the other hand....doesnt make her feel secure because he talks about puppy doggs and fairytales and listens to her cry and never ever thinks about becoming sexual because he is 'respectful'. She resents him for this an throws him in the friend zone.

true for the most part. There are some girls that appreciate men who are willing to be in the friend zone of course. And this does have some benefits. The girl that i'm really good friends with is much more valuable to me as a friend. She scouts girls for me and is able to hook me up with people she knows, so its like the best of both worlds, a best friend, who even though she wont let you fvck her, understands your needs and actually helps you fullfill them indirectly
