Here is a little backstory for you.
First date - lunch and a hug afterwards.
Second date - Dinner, minigolf, beach at night, kiss goodnight.
Third date - Dinner, movie at my house, then some serious making out and groping.

I am going to ask her out for Friday night. I am going to take her to see Borat to the 8:00 show. The movie will end around 10:00 and I will take her back to her house. This will be early enough to where I think she would invite me in.

Do I have to take her out to dinner also? Would it look odd if I just ask her to a movie and not dinner? I would rather just do the movie.

I just hate going to dinner before a movie because I can never time it right. Either we are way to early or we have to rush through dinner to make it on time.

If you take her out to dinner you can get to know her better. She'll be happy to see that your interested in her and not just making out with her in the movie theater. That's if you are interested in HER and not just groping her.
 
Why would you rather just do the movie? So you don't have to pay for dinner?

Dinner and a movie... they just go together. 🙂

Do you know how to cook? Otherwise picking something quick up after dinner usually works...and requires a place to eat it...
 
Wow you people like wasting money on women... wish I had that much money to spend. And its also funny how many of you think you NEED to take a girl to dinner for her to like you. Women are supposed to like being with you, it shouldn't matter what you are doing. If they are that shallow (which very few really care about how much you spend on them), then you are with the wrong girl. Why not just take her for a walk, or to something near the movie theater to chat if it is too cold. She should enjoy your company, not your money...

Not a bad idea... Still, I would do dinner. Make reservations or do a call ahead for 6:15pm and pick her up at 6pm. This should give you enough time for dinner and then to get to the movies, park, get tickets, and get seated. Also, are you sure you want to take her to see Borat? Will she know what/who Borat is, and will she appreciate the humor?

If you stay the night, offer to take her to breakfast, but then go home afterwards unless she suggests that you spend the day together. Get out of each other's hair.

I watched 40 year old virgin with her last weekend and she seemed to enjoy it so I think Borat will be ok. It seems like no places here take reservations so it makes things difficult. I called up a few places and they said they don't take reservations. Will they do call aheads or tell me to piss off?

Watch Borat = no sex with her for a year.
She will be so disgusted by the movie that you will not even get a peck on the cheek.
