Wow, why the hate? At 25, is making out with a girl a huge deal and something to lie about? I didn't say that I made out with Scarlet Johannsen (yum), I made out with my 19 year old neighbor and saw her boobies.. Woo-hoo.... "hook up" could just mean lets meet up. Very ambiguous. Here in Maryland at least.

Yes but we're talking about a different context. You can say "Hook me up with that HDTV" to the guy at Circuit City and not be saying that you want to have sex with the HDTV. But in the context of hooking up with a girl I think it implies sex.
