I bought a Springfield Armory M1a National Match almost a year ago, and since then I have just been using the iron sights. Today I finally sprung for some good glass to mount on the rifle.

Reticle
The scope is a Leupold Mk 4 LR/T 4.5-14x50mm tactical scope. It has a mil-dot reticle, external adjustments, and a side focus. This is hands down the best scope I now own, but I got a good price (but the price was still painful). swfa.com sells this scope for $1099, but I was able to pick it up locally brand new for $979. I also picked up the Leupold rings, and the cheapo mount up for another $130.
I went with the cheap m1a mount mostly because the good ones are out of stock, and because the scope took up the vast majority of the money I saved for that project (the good mounts are around $250 alone). This mount is a very close copy of a known good m1a mount, the ARMS #18. I used a liberal amount of loctite on all of the screws, so hopefully it wont give me a problem.
I can't wait to take it out this weekend and get the scope sighted in.
