For better or worse (usually worse), I seem to find myself involved with blondes a year or two older than me with blue or gray eyes and nice bodies and not much going on upstairs. This makes me unhappy because it means at the end of the day, I?m dating someone who I always have to explain things to rather than simply have a conversation with.

Do you have a type? Do you have problems being attracted to people who aren?t ?your type?? Are you/were you able to do anything to overcome this?

They're absolutely sure that whatever you say is wrong, and whatever she says or her friends say is right. You'll never win, whatever the subject.

I'm guessing he referring to women who think they are smart as opposed to women who actually are smart. The former will piss you the fvck off if she has a penchant for arguing. The latter is ok.

I tend to be most attracted too petite girls 5-5'5" 100-120 lbs.(im 6'3" 250 btw) Tanned/olive skin, dark hair , light eyes are better but I also have a thing for big brown eyes. for personality, out going, sense of humor and style are a must. a rocket scientists brains arent necessary as long as they have a nice/sweet personality.

I can say the same about dumb women. Conspicuous consumption (Coach? LV?) is the hardest one to convince your average IQ 100, MTV watching American Idol fan that is completley unnecessary.

No type for me.

I'm for a good person with a fun personality that I am attracted to. If shes ugly to someone else I don't care as long as I find something attractive about her . Big eyes SO do it for me though...

QFT.

Girls who are actually smart are really cool. Stuck up girls who think they are all that are not worth anyones time. I have a friend who had a girl who was the former. Mind you, she went to Harvard for Grad School, but I don't think she was all that overly intelligent compared to my friend, but she talked down to him a lot. Kind of pissed me off. She was not that great of an influence on him either.

Yes, and when I finally opened myself up to the possibility of going for someone that wasn't my type, I fell head over heels and got married.

:)

(but if I see my type walking down the street, I do watch)

QFT. Western women in general, unless you find a real catch, will never concede a point even if they are totally in the wrong. And if they are proven wrong, it is your fault for being insensitive. You just can't win. That kind of stuff annoys the heck out of me.

I have my own stupid annoying quirks, but that kind of ignorant crap is not my idea of someone I want to deal with. I know guys like that, and I don't hang out with them anymore.

the point is, you need to "practice" on all types to get better. then you can pretty much pick up any types.

for example, when you see two women at the bar together and they're not dykes, perhaps a 8-10 and a 5-8, you hit on them both as if they're 8-9s and then you send in your wingman. "oh here's my friend tom, he's this and that". he will talk to the possible cockblocker female friend while you concentrate on your taget.

piece of cake.

I like women with whom I want to spend time and they want to spend time with me.

I find it helps if she is:
-Smart
-Well educated, has at least a BA, but a MS or PHD would be better.
-Cultured, has been exposed to and likes art, different kinds of music, and is well read.
-Well traveled, such that she knows not to expect everyone to think like she does
-Sexually mature, likes sex and knows what she likes.
-Fairly sane.

Most important is that the she likes me and men in general

I don't have a type per say but I'm attracted to girls named Ashely, dunno why. Every girl I've ever had a crush on from 1st grade to now has been named Ashley. Only one of them did I know her name was Ashley beforehand.

QFT. Girls who are actually smart are ok. The ones who think that simply going to college/graduate school makes you smart can be a PITA.

For the original question, no i don't have a type. The only thing that's an instant turnoff is a girl being obviously overweight.

i like my women on the shorter side (5'6" and under) and I like them to be somewhat fashionable. And it should go without saying I prefer them not to be overweight.

Looks wise if they dress fashionable im sold. Personality they have to be funny, and smart. Dated a real airhead once, couldnt handle it.
