Here is my advice on the whole thing.

Is she more sexually aware than you are? if so, popping it against her is not so bad. Also, have you kissed her yet? if so, popping it against her is not so bad.

However, if the 2 above are not true ( she is shy, hasn't dated much, you haven't gotten very far with her, she thinks penises are icky, etc....) then tame the beast ahead of time.
