And so the Quest for Poon meets yet another obstruction. What will the brave hero do now?

This had better be a joke - if you are actually serious about this question, then you have worse problems than even I do.

I'm pretty serious about this critical decision. And it takes more than an hour to put it together and install applications, etc.

If you think about your computer WHILE you're with your g/f, the sex will be better.

You should name your computer "Lucy"(remember "Hackers"?) and call out its name. ;)

Looks like the concensus is to chill with the babe, although a lot of people voted AMD64. Man, the ramifications of a single decision!

NOOOOO build the computer!

Come on ATOT, we have the opportunity to run someone's life through a poll. Wouldn't it be much funnier to have him build the computer?

Should I not build it and spend the night with GF and explore the "possibilities" or go with what I'm craving to do: build the new AMD 64?

EDIT: SPECS

AMD64 3200+ skt939
MSI K8N Platinum/SLI
BFG 6600GT w/ dual DVI
1 Gig DDR400 3200 RAM

NEC16X DVDR
300 GIG HD (IDE, not SATA)

SPECS OF GF
Asian
36B
5'5
115lbs
No pics

When you get home the computer will still be there... if you make the girl wait you might get replaced....

Go spend the evening with your GF. Wait on building your PC until your GF has something else to do. Your parts will still be there...

Do not neglect your woman. You won't know what you have until it is gone.

I'd just invite my gf over to help/watch me build it. After thats done, which would prolly take what, 1-2 hours to build install windows and drivers.

Then I'd take her to dinner or some crap.

That reminds me of a story yesterday...

At our college a group of high school chicks came over and took apart computers (really badly) and another idiot at our college was working putting them back together, and I asked him if they were hott (the girls) and he's like oh you mean the video cards, no they weren't...

He was also talking about how he's married but it's ok to look at the menu, I told him he should stop looking in the seniors menu :p

since you refuse to post pics of the gf, i'm thinking the computer might be the more "attractive" option. :p

Wow. You've spoken in true, pure geek.

I share your feelings, though. I was excited as hell to build my A64 rig, but my girl knew so she let me build it.

It all ended happily ever after.

You posted this question in the wrong place. You are going to find tons of guys who don't have GFs and would give their left transistor to get some poon. When you get ass all the time then you get excited about other things...like this new A64 system...

Build it. If she is not anywhere to be found, use the powerful new processor to load up some high res porn. Then stick it to her tomorrow...

Only a real man like you and me can understand. Thanks!
