YAGT: Are the ex's friends off limits?

Are women that you have met through your ex girlfriend (during or after the relationship) off limits? My ex and I have been friends since the 2 months ago that we broke up, and now she is going just a bit psycho that I hooked up with one of her friends. And at the same time shes been seeing a guy whom she met a few days before we broke up - oh yeah and apparently I have no right to feel anything about that because she says "hes not your friend and you dont know him".

This is a legit question - so mods please dont lock this thread.

New rule for this thread, if your answer is NO. Then you have to tell the truth and declare your virginity.

Or I could just tell you that I married one of my ex's friends.

You need more reason to ask her to STFU! 😕

Bah, screw her. She's your ex, she has no right to get mad at you for who you decide to hook up with.

Exactly, I have no right in giving her a hard time about hooking up with a guy she met while we were togather. I think shes particularly possessive of this friend that I hooked up with because she is one of the first friends shes made in a long time all on her own.

I didn't even go after this chick trying to get laid or trying to hookup - It started when we had a connection because we both were venting about the horrors of still trying to be friends with your ex. Then from there we just clicked, and eventually slept togather after a long night in Tijiuana 🙂

My ex was stupid enough to ask me a direct question "did you sleep with her" - curiosity killed the cat.

If you broke it off with her, then yes they are off limits. If she broke it off with you, then HELL NO. If it was mutual, then its up to her. And I'm not a virgin.

S'right. When you broke up, it ceased to matter whether she was upset about something you do. If she's trying to control you now, she's not a friend. Date whoever you want. If you have fun, and the person you date has fun, your ex just has to get over it.

you DO have the right...

of course, it is the same if the role is reverse, i don't believe in this bro's before ho's.

but, i've never done it before, as i don't really want my friend's sloppy seconds....

No, they are in no way off limits.

She met the guy while you two were dating just like you met the one youre dating while you were dating her.

You arent with her, do NOT care what she thinks.

I would look at her and say this:

You have no reason to be concerned with me. You arent f^#&ing me or s*&^ing my d&^%. Unless you want to start, do not concern yourself with my business.

And yes, I told omsone this and they left me alone with what I wanted them to.

Oh yeah, and SHE broke up with me because she "FELL OUT OF LOVE". I was totally respectful of that and I did not hold it against her....I just accepted that as the truth. She said she had been feeling that for over a month before we broke up - so then whats the big deal if I move on too?

Im not trying to steal her friend, ****** I dont want to ruin your girltalk - I just want to enjoy my life.

Its a tossup, it could go either way:
If I respected her, I wouldn't sleep with her freind?
Or
If she respected me, she would be happy for me?

If your relationship with her was THAT bad, then she can certainly warn her friends. Otherwise, she has no business sticking her nose in your... umm... business.

Life's too short to worry about garbage like this. If you and the new girl like each other, then the ex needs to stfu.

Its really not about respect but just be happy that the person is happy again.

Just tell the new girl what is going on between you and the ex, and that you like her too much to stand for someone *forcing* you to not like her.

If one of your friends was boning your ex who would you be pissed at ... your buddy. She should be pissed at her friends with hooking up with you, not your fault dude.

direct quote from her:
"I just want to scream to the whole world and let them know that YOU ****** MY FRIEND! My ONLY friend!!!! "

I didn't ****** her, i made sweet love - ****** is spiteful and emotionless - and as if she wasn't out ****** a guy 4 days straight this weekend.
