This is actually a girl that was in my Biology class in high school, she currently goes to college. About a month ago she started working at this drive thru smoothie shop that I go to everyday. I pulled through and ordered my usual double banana smoothie with soy protein 🙂D), and she was at the window.
The first time I saw here - I was like "MARISA! What's up 😀" and she seemed shocked that I even knew her name - I guess she didn't remember who I was. So I do the usual chit chat - what are you up to, yadda yadda yadda, and she gives me this puppy dog smile everyday I drive through. She flirts a little - I just smile and try to be nice 🙂 She's a looker too - one of those "I went from Geek TO Chic" types you see on maury or something - I found it pretty flattering.
Today while I was waiting, I had my phone out, and she starts asking me what kinds of things I do in my spare time. I replied by saying that I'm a pretty boring person, just work and school........and she says, "Well, if you've got some time off - can I get your phone number, maybe we could go......"
I stopped her at this point - it totally seemed like she was asking me out. "Marisa - just so you know, I'm gay" . She was like "Oh....🙁...well, I'll get your number anyway" and I gave it to her.
At this point, I'm slapping myself upside the head. I've NEVER said anything like that to someone. And I didn't even let her finish what she was going to ask me - I just made she assumption that she was asking me out. For all I know, she could just wanted to hang out 🙁 How concieted of me 🙁 I feel bad about it - I am probably looking too much into it though. It's just that I shot her down from the getgo - I've never done something like that to a girl 🙁
