Then someone pulls a gun and shoots you, and claims it is self defense, and gets off because you were just threatening him with a gun while you did nothing but shop in a store.
In most places you have not comitted a crime until you actually walk out the door of the shop without paying.

It's private property. I can limit how many are in my store at one time, capisce? If they violate that sign on the front door then I can do w/e I have to in order to get them to leave. This includes utilizing an LRAD riot control weapon. You're acting like these fckers are untouchable, there are always ways to get them and get them good. Once they step foot into my store, they abide by my rules. Hell, I could even put a sign up that says they have to pay first before touching anything.

No, that is completely untrue. Just because I enter your store I am not giving up all my social and human freedoms to you. You can decide that I am not allowed to pick anything up before I buy something, but the ONLY way you have to enforce that is to refuse to accept my money for it when I try. You can limit your store to having only 3 people inside it at a time, but if 5 people come in the only recourse you are allowed to take is to call the police and have them charged with trespassing, and only after you specifically inform specific individuals to leave. You can not use violence or incarcerating measures to hold enforce your rules, or to harm individuals not following them.
 
Why didn't they just lock the door with the clerk outside and wait for the police to arrive? Store full of people caught in the act, arrest 'em all.

the definition has been significantly altered by the media such that everyone knows that a flash mob represents a large group of people who get together for some purpose

I know to GTFO when I come across stores/areas that are like that. I flat out leave immediately and watch my six. I tend to avoid them at all costs but have been in them before, always watching the situation and the patrons with a hawk eye.

I'm just tired of dealing with people like in the video, pacifists that give every excuse in the book with no solution (oh its because dsjkghsetkjghdsf socioeconomic jghejkgfkj poor blah) and those that cry out racism when a solution is being sought. It is incredibly frustrating.
 
I'm affraid this kind of behavior is going to seriously affect what stores stay open in these neighborhoods. I remember a few fast food restaurants with bullet proof partitions and turn tables to dispense the food. It is going to get to the point where you enter tell the guy behind the glass what you want and he sends it through after you pay. Like a big vending machine.

There is a Mcdonalds a few miles from me in a predominantly {removed because it hurts feelings} area where they have a worker posted at the door with it locked. When a customer comes up they unlock and then lock and when they leave they unlock and then lock. It's BS but its very obvious why they do it. I don't go there anymore. Last time I saw the bulletproof glass wtih revolving service window and all that were ghetto areas in Brooklyn NY.
