One of the reasons racism will never be resolved. Strawmen and denials. Rather then answer the evidence presented he just mocks it as if the wife of the interracial couple is crazy.
The only "facts" presented here are illogical and false. An anecdote is not a fact. There's plenty of actual racism out there. This isn't a good example.

This woman's story is real. I could pull at least 6 more including a celebrity.

Your response makes sense assuming the woman is lying. Why would you assume that?

This is both hilarious and sad at the same time
An entire neighborhood of white people come out to surround this guy because his very existence is a threat to them.

Racism and white privilege in the same clip. This groups think they have the right to demand the black guy cowtow to them as if they are in charge.

How soon before we get the replies this is neither racist of privileged?

Reconnected with an old friend from over 20 years ago. Since then he worked for PSE&G for about 20 years, in Northern NJ. PSE&G is our main utility provider up here. He said it was pretty bad there. A lot of bad apples. I mean multiple occasions of black baby dolls found in nooses. General racism and homophobia but on another level. He just put his head down and grinded it out, and now things have gotten stricter. Cameras in the shops and more monitoring. But I was like seriously, black dolls in nooses? These people just did not evolve properly.

My ex works there. She's trying to get out of there like the movie Get Out.

Defending your business while black

Patiently waiting for all the 2a folks and all the "Government is evil with all their permits and regulations folks

In 2018 when Oklahoma voters legalized medical marijuana, Bratcher established Premium Smoke LLC, a marijuana grow shop located in Oklahoma City, whose business license expired a year later. Bratcher had planned to renew his license in 2019, his wife said, but learned he would not be allowed to do so until he made nearly $100,000 worth of renovations to the warehouse that housed it, so he held off.

“He was trying to break in when the business owner, who was inside the business at the time, apparently opened fire with a handgun, striking and killing the man who was breaking in,” Msgt. Gary Knight with the Oklahoma City Police Department said.

FYI: Oklahoma is a stand your ground state.

I'm just not seeing in those reports where the murder charge is coming from?

Bratcher’s business grew medical marijuana, and May 27 was the second night in a row that Hardwick had shown up, the report said.

Oklahoma City CBS affiliate KWTV reported that the defendant himself called the police after the shooting.

“[Hardwick] was trying to break in when the business owner, who was inside the business at the time, apparently opened fire with a handgun, striking and killing the man who was breaking in,” Oklahoma City Police Department Master Sgt. Gary Knight told NBC affiliate KFOR.

Bratcher’s business license had lapsed. His wife told Yahoo! News that officials ordered him to make “nearly $100,000 worth of renovations” to his medical marijuana facility — so he wasn’t able to obtain the necessary paperwork to continue operations. That lapse would prove to be fateful.

“It was about 480 plants, which comes out to approximately $1,500,000 of marijuana,” Knight told KFOR. “Ultimately, he ended up being booked in to the Oklahoma County Jail on unlawful cultivation of marijuana.”

The charge is a felony.

Prosecutors filed second-degree murder charges shortly thereafter. When Bratcher didn’t accept a plea deal, his family told Yahoo! News that the prosecutor upped the charges again — this time to first-degree murder.

Oklahoma County court records currently indicate that Bratcher is currently charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, the unlawful cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of an offensive weapon while committing a felony.

A hearing to consider a bond reduction is scheduled for June 14. A trial is scheduled for October 11.

Under Oklahoma law, first-degree murder includes any act which results in “the death of a human being” during the “unlawful distributing or dispensing of controlled dangerous substances or synthetic controlled substances” — “regardless of malice.”

Though Oklahoma is a so-called “stand your ground” state, the protection of the law does not extend to individuals engaged in a felony when they pulled the trigger in apparent self defense.

The law says “an owner, manager, or employee of a business” is “presumed to have held a reasonable fear of imminent peril of death or great bodily harm” if “[t]he person against whom the defensive force was used was in the process of unlawfully and forcefully entering, or had unlawfully and forcibly entered, a . . . place of business.” It also provides protection if the person who pulled the trigger “knew or had reason to believe that an unlawful and forcible entry or unlawful and forcible act was occurring.” The first protection focuses on the person doing the entering; the second protection focuses on the person doing the shooting.

Other protections are also laid out in the statute.

The protection does not apply, however, if “[t]he person who uses defensive force is engaged in an unlawful activity or is using the dwelling, residence, occupied vehicle, place of business or place of worship to further an unlawful activity,” the statute says.

“Prosecutors say that because Bratcher operated his grow business without a license, he was felonious and any self-defense clause is thrown out,” Yahoo! News explained.

Bratcher’s lawyer, Clay Curtis, told Yahoo! News that his client acted “reasonably under the circumstances.”

Vicky Bratcher said prosecutors argued that her husband — the defendant — was a “threat to the community” because of his Army combat training.

So the garbage WoD strikes again, oh and the prosecutors arguing he's a threat to the community due to him combat training is just the usual bushit that prosecutors get away with.

We can't nationally legalize MJ fast enough

2A absolutists never stand up for black people defending themselves with firearms. Remember the abused women who's husband threatened to kill her? She fired waring shots to scare him off and she went to jail.

Amusing, but is this different then any neighborhood anywhere? If you do not fit in, people are going to react.

Wrong color car, car to old, etc. I have driven into some wealthy neighborhoods in Florida that had their own private police come out and harass me. I mean private in that their security guard was an "off duty" police officer with a police car and in uniform.
oh, and I am white. This is just the way people react everywhere.

Some of it. Blocking someone from leaving, or claiming youre photographing women and children probably isnt "normal". But the snide racism is.

Yes this is very different, for a few months I lived in Long Beach, in the not so good part. I was literally the only Caucasian person in the entire neighborhood. Almost none of the people knew me, and there was never a problem when I would sit in my car eating a chili burger from Tommys. I think maybe twice a joke or 2 was hurled at me because I was a white male in a Ford Taurus which apparently reminds some people of a cop car. So I got a couple "ohhh you an undercover huh!" I never felt threatened, but I'm sure some of the people there did though. Why is this white man living in our neighborhood? Zero issues so that's just me assuming.

That's definitely not the way people react everywhere, not even close.

Some people - From the looks of it he was reaching therefore they should have "good shoot''d" him.
Those people - "Lets wait and see if the quasi KKK\Proud boys sites I frequent find a criminal record on this thug and have some stuff I can parrot"
Other people - Why is their a task force surrounding a guy for vaping?
People from sane countries - LOL.
Me - Can't get over the need to say "Fuck vape heads"

We're told the encounter began when the group was seen vaping in a prohibited area.

As the group walked away officers reportedly saw a man start vaping again.

According to police, he refused to provide his ID and became disorderly.
When they tried to place him under arrest, they say he resisted.

Three others were charged for interfering with the arrest.

All 4 men are from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and are between 18 and 19-years-old.

Nope. It's racist. Has to be. Everything is racist.
Also zillow.com doesn't know what color a homeowners skin is, but I'm sure home values must be racist too. It's the only possible explanation.

So if white people want to get their assessments lowered, all they have to do is hang up pictures of black folk to fool the auditor into thinking black people own the house, and their assessment will magically be slashed according to you pea-brains? Good lord this thread is hilarious.
you're a simple creature.
Its a shame so many people are just barely intelligent enough to make an account on a forum but cant do much beyond that.
