mustang vs. G35 sedan
mustang pros:
cheaper up front
longer powertrain warranty
runs on 87
cheap to get more power out of it
available convertible
gobs more torque
assembled in the US
ford V8 rumble
mustang cons:
will probably lose value faster
it's a ford
don't like the mast antenna
somewhat plasticky interior
don't like the door speaker
rear seat only usable in a pinch
everyone and their mom seems to have one
no sunroof available (are aftermarket ones any good?) (haven't decided that i like convertibles)
if i didn't get a stick i'd kick myself, and if i did get a stick i'd probably kick myself every time i'm in traffic
G35 pros
slightly more power to start
nicer inside
probably built better
built in japan
very usable back seat and easy entry
high tech wizbang features like push button, keyless ignition
HIDs
generally retains its value well
sunroof available
wouldn't kick myself for getting the automatic
i've got a good record with nissan's finance dept.
G35 cons
costs more up front
not an icon
everyone and their mom seems to have one
premium gas
i hate how the VQ sounds
my current nissan is a POS
a friend of mine already has one, and another is strongly thinking of getting one
this is tough
