OK, I have to ask.

Why did you put Sparco Torinos in your 1992 civic? It's not like you are going to Watgen's Glen on the weekends to grind out a few laps. If you are really crazy, you might go speeding around a parking lot course in second gear once a month. Do you think putting a pair of $500 seats in your car makes you cooler? faster? l337er? What benefit does bolstering provide you in stoplight to stoplight drag racing?

Inquiring minds want to know!

And let's not get started on 4 point harnesses...
 
What's the point of a $390 video card when my $75 GF4 MX440 works just as well in UT2K4? Same concept - to make you seem more badass.
 
Four or six point harnesses actually make sense with all the loonies out on the road today.
 
i don't get why everyone rips on ricers...not everyone can afford M3's or STi's or whatever...

on that note, my '93 maxima, '02 sentra, '03 civic SEDAN 🙂() are all stock..

Modding a car for performance is one thing. For most drivers, racing seats are just REALLY REALLY expensive type R stickers.
 
ok these ricer bashing threads are getting old. We all know ricers are a bunch of posers. Are you actually asking because I think the reason why a poser would put something like that in his car is obvious.

I really don't see whats so bad about ricers. I mean honestly, let 'em deck out their car. Is it hurting you or putting you in physical pain at all? Does it cause cataracts in your eyes when you see one?

Another good things is that they Mod cars that gets good gas mileage..
Not like the Muscle cars (gas guzzlers)..

This is America. If you want to bolt a freakin' Lazyboy in there, then more power to you. Judging other people's choices like this tells me more about you than it does about the guy with the Sparcos. When you start making this guys car payments, then you can decide what his car should look like. Until then you're just a bitch.
