Ok, I need a Gasket for the circled thing in the picture. I think it is a Intake Manifold Gasket is that correct?

EDIT: Read my next post, on the bottom.

Edit: Car was fixed! The Injector fixed the starting problem, the gasket fixed the shaking problem, & it was a goddamn sensor that was screw up had something to do with time or something? so everything is good.

No, I didnt touch my car. The dealer & the 2 mechanics I showed it to do not know what is wrong with my car. The dealers computer test showed that it was the #2 Fuel Injector, Well I just had it changed & the car still shakes & wont start when its cold. The last thing the mechanic said to try was the Intake Manifold Gasket before I sell the thing. I was told if not that it was either the Computer or something about head? & he said I wouldnt want to pay for thoes things.

Take the car to a different (GM) dealer for service. It seems to me that they're trying to rip you off, probably the dealer telling you the car is fubar'ed just to put you in a new one.

Oh well... I guess that's what you get for buying a Daewoo... :p

Uh, take it to a different place, NOW.

I'll bet 50$ it has nothing to do with the god damn intake manifold gasket.. LOL..

Although, more info would be nice. Make, model? engine type, displacement?

Does it run and start normally when warmed up? Or does it lack power and vibrate more than normal and run like crap?

Fuel pump and filter maybe? Definately take it somewhere else to be tested.

It's a 1999 Daewoo Lanos.

God, that doesn't suck too bad, does it? Paid for a diagnosis and it's wrong! Eli, he's out $110.00 for the injector, plus the cost of the diagnosis. All this computor controlled crap is really great, eh?

Sort of sounds like the plugs are firing at the wrong time, or not at all, if it's shaking.

Not true! It may be that he simply hasn't provided the required 1.21 jigawatts of electricity to the flux capacitor. Try that first, then go with the blinker fluid.

Wow just wow. Don't you idiots know that you are supposed to check the muffler bearings BEFORE even thinking about the blinker fluid. The misinformation on AT can be appalling.

No wonder the dealer is trying to screw you... easy target.

I don't recall the muffler having bearings. However, the muffler belt might be causing some issues or even the fart sensor that is connected to the tailpipe could be an issue, too.
