I have a 1974 Dodge Pickuptruck with a 318 5.2L V8. I just put on a new Holley Carburator. Well my new carburator has no vacuum advance on the carburator, so I hooked it up to the intake's main vacuum tree thing. Well, w/o the vacuum advance, I am timed at TDC. With teh advance on AT IDLE, I am at TWENTY THREE (23) degrees advanced. And that is idle. Do you guys think that is waaaay too much? Think there is another vacuum source I could try?
