drove both. IMO they are pretty similar, except when we were looking they had some ridiculous promotion like 1.9% on the accords. Never took the TSX fast around corners so I don't know what the VSA feels like. But the best looking car was the accord coupe but we weren't in the market for 2 dr. Went with the TSX and happy about it though to me from the side it kind of looks like a Focus which I hate.

aight.

I WILL TELL YOU.

I own a honda acoord v6 and my sister has a TSX.

The difference in power is very very noticable. the inline 4 on the TSX struggles to develop torque but it definetly has a lot more sporty feel to it. The honda has a nicer powerband and a big plus is the room. The TSX feels as small as a civic sometimes but it is a little more refined as most acuras are compared to their honda brethren.

overall

I would take the honda because of extra space and more power.

PLus, i hate to say it but the TSX sort of has a girly feel to it.

TSX no doubt. Why would you try to load up an Accord that ends up costing the same as a base TSX? By the way, the "base" TSX is fully loaded. There are no options except Navigation or Not.

everyone and there mom has a tsx, so it isn't all that unique.

i doubt the resale value, as a percentage of what you pay, is any worse on the accord than the tsx. and because the accord is less expensive to begin with, your absolute loss is smaller.

LMAO are you joking? Go look at sales numbers.

Whats that mean? all over as in engine dead?

Yeah that's exactly what he meant. Once Hondata releases their long awaited custom programmable chip, all the engines are going to die. That's as good of a comment as your dealer saying only women drive TSX's. Please, just stop.

Anybody know about the deal with costco? My parents bought their car witha dealership with sales people that were somehow connected with costco and they sell it to you at a fixed over-invoice price. Our 05 v6 accord was only $100 over invoice with no haggling, tire-kicking and what not to mention 2.9% apr over.. 36 months i think (can't remember but there was definitely a 1.9% apr for a shorter amount of time). Very happy with the decision overall.

TSX looks much better than the Accord but V6 accord has more torque and power than the TSX. I'm leaning towards the accord v6

popper -

I myself bought the RSX...but I test drove an accord v6. it was very nice but felt way too much like a mommy car... I imagine the TSX isn't much different.

for 26k (or thereabouts) I'd drive down to the nearest pontiac dealership and pickup a GTO at the GM discountrate thats going on ;)

Might as well drive the GTO straight to the mechanic cuz thats how long it'll take it break down ;)

I'm very open to cars from all regions... but if daddy's paying, then daddy's japanese bias preceeds everything.
