'97 toyota corolla shakes when it hits 70 mph. Anything slower and it's smooth, and anything above 75 it is a very tiny minor vibration. Between 70 and 75, the steering wheel jitters quite a bit.

Where can I find an automotive mechanics guide for a 97 corolla?

My jeep is currently giving me a code

P1494 which equates to:

Leak Detection Pump Sw or Mechanical Fault
Incorrect input state detected for the Leak Detection Pump (LDP) pressure switch. This is for a 99 WJ w/ the 4.0

How do I fix this

If my maxima is throwing a 0304 knock sensor code, does putting in 91 octane versus 87 octane make a difference?

My bike has twin rear lights, they are wired in parallel. The left bulb keeps blowing, and when I replace it the bike will sometimes fuse out a few times in a row. Soon after it'll be fine for several hundered miles, but the left bulb will have blown. i've run a mulimeter across the connections and it appears there is a normal level of resistance within the wires.

What do you think, champ?

I've got a Jeep Cherokee that will run normally for a while and then abruptly start overheating. When it starts overheating, if I turn the vent to "hot," cool air comes out. When it's not overheating, turning the vent to "hot" produces hot air. What's your diagnosis and estimated cost-to-repair?

Age and mileage of the vehicle would help me come up with a guess.

1991, 130k. I replaced the water pump just over a year ago.

Seems like the cooling system is not working properly and your engine is working on thermal capacity of water. Feel the top hose going to the radiator. It should be very firm from pressure and very hot. If not, water is not circulating.

lol, probably not. Your knock sensor is probably toast. They fail easily on these cars. About $100.00 for a new one. Hope you have small hands when you go to replace it because its in a very difficult place.

Alignments and/or wheel balance. Have you had your wheels balanced at all?
You can find Haynes/Chiltons manual at most major auto parts store and book stores. Factory manual at dealerships

If my racket pinew steering belt is bad, does that mean ABS suspension timer will need to be replaced also?

Also, which brand of kerosine gets the best mileage in my 1944 Radon Falcon II?

audi a4:

fluctuating idle that drops down to the point of stalling and bounces back up

Deep rumbling noise throughoutthe car that goes away when making sharp right hand turns

1. I had a same problem before in a different car. It was poor electrical system grounding
2. Power steering hydraulic valve components?

I've replaced the wheel bearing, ujoints, removed the front driveshaft, greased everything.

hmmm tough one..
i'll give up. what's the key?

1. dirty idle control valve - i shoul've added that the car runs fine when under load/ higher rpms
2. wheel bearing... that one is a no brainer though :)

You'll never get this one...I don't think any mechanic could.

Under WOT engine suffers severe loss of power at 4500 RPM out of 6500 redline, similar to fuel being shut off at around. In fact it feels exactly like the fuel is being shut off. 2004 acura-tl. What could cause this?

(I figured out what it was, darndest thing)
