Nice, and congrats.
400hp, but not much top end for some reason. I've run against a couple of LS2 GTOs, and I can walk them pretty easily.
Be careful...remember American Muscle Cars > Any Rice.
GTO is a nice car...but nothing fantastic. It's a pig with a V8. It's a luxury 'muscle' car.
It's competition is more Charger SRT than Corvette.
Your EVO is more car than the STi stock for stock...but the STi only losses to the GTO by a hair 0-60 and 1/4 mile yet spanks it on the slalom and braking. It also almost has equal interior space. When the EVO first came out the STi was better here in the states...I think it was the VIII model at the time. There are a ton of EVO's and STi guys here along with F-Body, Vette, and Mustangs....and of course the Hondas.
400 hp and it's performance is laughable when cars with 100hp less are turning equal times.
It's the old man's performance car here.
Nice Saturn. :disgust:
chicks liked it in school...it was a fun and cheap car, pretty quick when I was done with some easy mods...low 7 sec 0-60 and a 15 sec 1/4...got awesome gas mileage and never broke down. All my cars prior to it would have handed it it's ass though, my 1988 GT I wish I took to the track, like my 1966 I could light my tires up in 3rd gear at above most posted limits.
I bought it for about $10k extremely low miles a couple years old. It was a great car though so many like to clown on it.
I was surprised how many women didn't know it was a Saturn. However this was 7 years ago.
My 97 VW GTI VR6 was regularly parked up front via valet prior to me selling it. I don't have much pictures of it...just my basic for sale shot, but it had sold already prior to updating it. I had that car up to 140+ behind a M3 and Corrado one day on the way to Moroso in the rain. I could take exit ramps at triple digit speeds in it.
Most women around here laugh at guys driving corvettes yet alone guys owning two of them.
I like the vette though...just not guys like you perking up their little members over other cars without qualifying their statements.
My 1966 Mustang GT though got just about any chick young or old. This was back in 1988/89...it was a $40k restoration. I was 17...it was like teen heaven.
Thanks for hitting my site.
Thanks for rolling your eyes at my 'cheaper' cars.
