This thread is so goddamned confusing. WTF happened to the OP, did he miss the old man or something? How does one hit a pole into a park lot at 50MPH? How does one get an insurance company to allow him to make a claim AFTER the accident? WTF? and WTF?!

Missed the old man, kissed the post.

What do you mean - How do you get an insurance company to allow me to make a claim AFTER the accident? Usually you need to HAVE an accident BEFORE filing a claim! Unless you're a scam artist.
Err how did you get the insurance company to file a claim if you didn't have any insureance yet? Isn't that a scam?

It's the old man's fault, the old man's insurance should have to pay.

If I filed with state farm, I have no collision. They'd tell me to file on his.

If I filed with state farm and had collision - They'd pay it and subro it back to Geico.

Just a sidenote: 2003 Neon vs a Utility pole, the pole won.

so did you get his insurance info since he caused the crash?

If you read the thread you'd notice the police report and the fact that geico is being assholes.

Thought they accepted liability, I must have missed something.

They did. I asked for it in writing and then they started denying even mentioning it.

Rofl my waffle, I came home from working from 7:00AM this morning till 9:00 at night, and unlike little pvssies like you that have the time to sit around being a whiney little emo bitch and cry about everything in my life because my daddy did not raise me as the prince my mind makes me out to be, I did not have time to rest yet, so I am tired and my eyes are so blurry I cannot see the keyboard. But, I can't go to bed yet because I have responsibilities to to take care of, unlike you. What are those responsibilities? its called something like REAL LIFE! Real life meet PAB, PAB meet real life. You better watch it PAB because the way it looks now real life is going to kick your boohooing "omg my dad didn't buy me everything in the world, and I'm more of a pvssy than richard simmons, but I try to act tough on the internet to make up for it" ass.

BTW PAB, this might seem like flame, and you might say to yourself its only the internet, but considering you opened up the conversation to your life, for you to post stuff as screwed up as you do, you must be screwed up in real life. Think about that pal, do not brush it off as you sit there in your underwear whining the night away. Look at yourself in the proverbial mirror and realize how fvcked up you must be to act like you do. So whatever dude, knowing that you will get no where in life and will probably get fvcked over by one of your little scams by someone with a real sense of reality and just a tiny bit of muscle (because hey, how much effort can it take to beat the living ****** out of a whiney young adult still stuck in the puebescent age), gives me the last laugh.

I hope you cry into your pillow tonight before you go to bed, thinking about how you only have one life and yours is already messed up so bad, and much more you could be anjoying life now but you can't. So cry tonight, cry hard and cry often, let the tears flow PAB, but not for you, because there is no hope for you, but for the world that has to deal with your teenage girl like antics. Go get a life and talk to me later.

wow, i actually read this post...and did not see the name til i finished reading it..and wow, was i NOT shocked that this was the name attached to this post..rofl

Aww ChiBoy, are you still upset that I called you out for giving bad information and trying to talk about what was clearly obvious you had no idea what it even was. Sorry, I guess maybe you shouldn't have faked a death to get out of a school project.

I am glad to see you continue to try and attack me at every chance you get, it is very entertaining to me and gets me laughing. Troll on kiddo. :)

you...you are clearly the troll.. It's obvious from reading you in this thread that you have INSANE 'ROID rage..... chill out on all the supplements and steroids that you are taking, that way you won't have to take it out on people over the internet :)

I sent over a package to my lawyer, he's on the case now. I had the car checked out by my people and the number is $5200.

I'm having the photo lab develop some 8x10 glossy's of the intersection.

Not even close. A guy with a brand new Dakota, 60km on the odometer. Had some unlicenced mexican driving a mustang not notice traffic sitting at a light, skidded across into oncomming traffic, someone swerved and hit him totalling his truck. The cops let the guy that caused it go w/o citing him.

And a friend of mine was in two major accidents with a 4WD diesel pickup before he had 6000 miles on it. One would've totalled it except the hitch saved the bed from being pushed into the cab. He drove alot and ended up putting 19,000 on a rental truck before he cracked 6000 on his own.

Excellent. Have fun with the lawyers!
Also, do you plan on getting a full police report for the incident?

btw, why block out the VIN in that picture when you didn't in another picture?
Florida DMV was so happy to give out your personal information!

I already have one.

I'm unsure as to what you're referring to, I have not blocked out any VIN's.

neons suck.
By the way... had you paid attention, you could have slowed down. even at 50. with modern cars its not hard to stop from 50 in a small distance. IF YOU PAY ATTENTION.

2003 Neon 60-0 stopping distance is about 120 feet. At 50mph, that distance decreases exponentially. You probably could have slowed down to under 25mph in those 50 feet, perhaps making it possible to drive around the nose of his vehicle. You should go measure from the point where you began stopping to the point where his vehicle was and see if it's actually 50 feet, though. It's hard to judge distance accurately when you're in a high pressure situation like that. Please post pics of you playing in traffic with a measuring tape. :p

Oh, Geico just called.

They accept full liability. Now they're going to fix everything and I'm going to get squared up.
Wait, you settled an insurance claim in a couple hours? Without an adjuster inspecting the car, a police report, or witnesses?
Geico just called you and said "hey, everything is a-ok champ, were going to just hand you more fat stacks of cash".

Man are you ever full of sh!t.

How many car accidents have you been in? Notice of acceptiance of liability dosen't mean settlement. You need acceptance of liability for them to say "lets cut you a check". Settlment is HERES YOUR CHECK.

Jackass.

You are so full of sh!t... the other guys insurance wouldnt pay you jack... you didnt collide with his car you collided with a pole. They would absolutely fight this all the way... REGARDLESS of any police report... I know I've been through it.

SHENS SHENS SHENS... if you have the police report... show it... or show the car, or show us SOMETHING that says you're anything but a lying sack of attention whoring ass grease.

-Max

Remind me to email you a picture of the check in a week.

Why should I wait a week dipsh1t?... scan the police report now.

Hey asshole

Add reaction time. At 50MPH you'll cover 50 feet in about 0.68 seconds. Good luck :)

Say you have a killer reaction time. You react as soon as the threat shows itself. And you're fast, you move your foot from the gas to the brake in 0.1 second. You're down to about 43 feet. You'll only get down to about 40MPH.

But say, you're human. It takes you about half a second to react and about a quarter to move your foot. You're hitting at 49MPH (because you got your foot off the gas)
