My car ran a 15.555 at LACR in Palmdale, CA.

When I say my I did 15.7@88, it was a Sacramento Raceway. I just haven't been out since my brother in law sold his El Camino. (13.7@99MPH for under $2500)

Edit:
And I've seen NotFred's timeslips before his car got stolen.

Obtained from C&D September, 1999
0-60: 8.9
1/4 Mile: 16.9

1999 Chevy Malibu LS.... whoopie, just as fast as a Civic with automatic, if not just a tad faster.

Huh, guess that makes your car like vaporware eh?

And why'd you goto that crappy @ss track. California Speedway is sooo much nicer:)

I only went once, and my best was a dismal 16.106 at 84.74MPH. I had a crappy 60ft time of 2.433 which is why I had a low time. I really wanted to break into the 15s since I know it is possible.

Oh well, next time.

It was fun though, I got to race cops in their cruisers down the 1/4mi strip. (and beat them!) :)
They had their lights flashing and sirens going and everything. They were really cool folks.

my car will give any car here a run for it's money.... as the slowest car here :) I really don't know what times it would run, probably in the 20s, with the way I drive stick :p

Not like I give a sh!t how fast my car does the 1/4 mile in. In no way does it pertain to my life.

My 1964 F100 runs 13.5 right now. I just got it running and havn't tuned it w/ the new carb (Holly 750 DP). I know it runs this becuase run at a local track 5 miles away www.firebirdonline.com

Here's a pic of how it looks a year ago. If this thread is still going, i'll throw up a new pic I take of it today, I just got it running last weekend.

They're quite fast. I've personally seen one run low 14's (had a smaller pulley on the supercharger).

Yeah, it's not bad for a daily driver. ;) I have to fight the urge to upgrade parts on it. I've already got one car that sucks down money in performance parts, I don't need another.

Is that a real ITR, or did you convert the lugs?

unless the owner painted it, ITR only comes in white yellow or black. meanwhile, I think it would be irrational to substititute the original Type-R rims for anything else. :)

Not to mention removing the wing and the decals;)

all the things you would do to have a 'sleeper' look :)

the elevation is way off sea level there, so your real 1/4 time is probably around 15.0-15.2 :)

My current car? Not a clue, but pretty damn slow (1990 Accord EX). My old Mustang could do it in 12.8@109mph (I have this on video, so I can prove it) with no supercharger, no nitrous oxide.

If its an auto high 16's/low 17's. Stick gets you mid-high 16's.

Probably mid 16's. But whoopdee dooo. It's a 2.3L FWD 4 banger that was never meant to go fast in a straight line. It holds it's own just fine flinging around the curves though.

14.57 @ 99 mph (IIRC, went about a month ago)
it should be able to do 14.1-2 if I knew how to launch it :(
