Ran 14.3 @ 97 with my last engine, which had bad compression and I found out I was running with a broken panhard rod (2.35 60'). Now have 50 more cubic inches, better intake manifold, better computer, better rear end, upgraded exhaust, new transmission, better tires, and upgraded/new suspension parts. I figure it'll run ~13.3 @104 now pretty easily, but I don't really want to race it anymore on account of that's why my last engine went south and I can't afford to replace the engine and drivetrain again. It definitely has a lot more power and hooks up better now, though. Even get 20mpg frequently with LA traffic, which is good for this car. Really good prom tuning done by a friend of mine.

If its an auto high 16's/low 17's. Stick gets you mid-high 16's.

My old '83 Mustang was nowhere near stock. Near stock, it ran fairly consistent 14.9-15.1@~90mph.

My car had:

4.11 gears w/MT Sportsman Pro 26x11.5 DOT tires
302 (1988 stock bottom end) w/Dart Windsor 2.02/1.6 heads (with bowls opened up and casting flash removed)
.544" hyd. roller cam, 302intake, 310exhaust adv duration, 234-242@0.050, 112 degree lobe center
Holly 700cfm 0-4778 "double pumper" carb sitting atop an Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake
MAC 1.75" big tube full-length headers, into 2.5" exhaust

And numerous other little mods like underdrive pulleys (race)..

Is that a real ITR, or did you convert the lugs?

unless the owner painted it, ITR only comes in white yellow or black. meanwhile, I think it would be irrational to substititute the original Type-R rims for anything else. :)

Who said I had a Type R? It's not even a GSR, it's an RS. 15.4 is not bad at all for an RS, a Type R should run 14.9 in the quarter stock. That's not a bad time for my car with just bolt-ons, with the new clutch it should do 15.2 and with better tires a 15.0 easy, another guy broke into 14's with basically my same mild bolt on setup.

And the Integra Type R has five lugs while the rest only have 4. It came in Championship White in '97 and in '99-'01 came in Phoenix Yellow and Nighthawk Black Pearl. My friend just got a black one :). But actually, it does come in my color, Milano Red, in Europe...

And by irrational to replace the rims, do you mean irrational to replace the whole lug assembly etc? I might consider it if I had an R because those go for big money. As far as just replacing the rims... I would mainly because they aren't wide enough, only 6", and weigh about 15lbs. My rims are 6.5" and weigh 11lbs.

We were talking about if you had a real type-R, hence crazy to remove the wing and paint it and what not. And yes, 15.4 is quite respectable for an RS with bolt-ons.

And he was asking if you had a 5-lug conversion;)

The angle of the photo made it look like a 5-lug arrangement at first glance. When I got called on it, I realized that there were only four lugs. That's all *shrug*
