YACT: G35 or Acura TL?

I'm gonna be buying a new car sometime soon. These are the 2 that I'm looking at. What do you think of them? Pros and cons?

EDIT: I'me talking about a 2005, and a sedan.

they're both great CARS. The TL outshines the G35 in every way, except for the G35 is RWD. ANd that's pretty much what it boils down to.

TL Type-S had tranny problems. '04 Trannies are fine.

I'm assuming you are comparing to G35 Sedan, so I would go with the TL. If it were the G35 Coupe, that would win.

look at the make up of the GT-R and the G35. Both Twin-Turbo, both produces about the same BHP. performance wise its pretty much the same.

G35 - coup that is.

But that's a good thing 😉

depends

interior - TL ( not sure about 2005 G35's but to me 2K4's are not nice at all)

looks - debatable but i like the TL

speed - G35

handling - G35

want a coupe? than you have to get a G35

snow driving? - TL

cost - i think the TL is a little bit cheaper though don't quote me on that

it is close but if you are going to compare a 2004 G35 sedan to a 2004 Acural TL than i would take the acura

G35 coupe vs TL would be nice but i can't get over the lousy interior of the G35

i am not familiar with 2005 models of either car so i can't comment

though the new G35 sedan looks much better than last year's

04 than i would definitely go TL

05 - i dont know

if the interior was stepped up i would probably pick the G35 but i can't stand a crummy interior and that is something i am very picky about

A-spec kit AKA $5k in body panels?
Tighter suspension, better and bigger rims and tires. I'm not sure if it's worth it but I'm in love with the A-spec wheels.

Muadib is correct, they don't make a Type-S TL anymore.

edit: I vote TL.

It depends. If you are happy with a FWD car on Accord platform, get the TL.
If you want an RWD car on 350Z platform get the G35 or G35x for snow.
From my point of view you can upgrade the stereo, and you can mod the engine, but you can never make a FWD car RWD. The 2005 G35 interior is an improvement over the 2004. The main thing that bothered me about 2004 was the cheap gray plastic on the door handles, and I think they changed that to aluminium. It's still not perfect, but I don't think it's a showstopper anymore.

Also, if you plan on keeping the car for a while, both interiors will age. In 3 years there will be a lot more fancy interiors with lots better electronics. But I think G35 appearance will age better. It's a more understated classy look.

Not sure if I'm misreading you, but are you saying that the G35 is twin-turbo charged?

well, it's pretty much the standard honda vs. nissan debate. you can have more fun in the nissan but it's a crappier car other than that.
