YACT: Do you change your own oil?

Maybe someone shouldn't have told me what YACT meant. 😉

BTW.. I change my own oil and use Amsoil synthetic oil in all my vehicles.

Hell yes. Otherwise you're throwing away your money. Unless, of course, it's free and you're perfectly capable of saying no when they try to throw other crap at you.

Yes
But mine is easy to get at - don't even need ramps.

I used to take the honda to the oil change places because it was a PITA to get at the filter.

What changed? It used to be a PITA and now it is easy?

WTF?

I have the capability, but not the facilities (apartment living), so I just have it done. I used to go to my parents house to change it when they lived close, but since they moved, I just started having it done.

The oil never stays around long enough to need changing.

Heh - I used to have one of those. Continuous oil change, pour it in the top, burn it out the back.

Same here. It used to burn it or leak it out so fast that there wasn't a need to ever change it.

yes, easy to do and I feel like I do a better job than most places. (Drain more out and use better oil/filters.)
