What kind of car?
With a hood and trunk you could probably kill at least 50 pounds, but it will cost a whole lot of money.
It'd be cheaper, and you'd save more weight, to strip carpets, airconditioning, sound insulation, dashboard, seats (replace with less comfy but lighter seats), pull the spare tire if you're only going to be at a track, pull the sound system, etc.
