This is very similar to a previous thread by another poster, but I don't care because I could talk about cars all day long. These are cars I found on www.cars.com for $5,000 and because I am 20 years old and plan on driving the car for a while, insurance / reliability / gas mileage are main concerns. Also, I will probably purchase a warranty and I believe there are certain requirements such as mileage and age that are taken into account. Warranty Gold has a limit of like 70k miles and 95 or 96+, I don't remember, but these warrantys are for 3yrs or 36k miles and cover just about everything, including wear and tear on all parts, power windows, etc. So while some of these cars are more desireable than others, should a warranty be a huge deal? Or no? I'm not a fanboy of any specific type, I'm just listing these by manufacturers I believe to be reliable (The Big 4... Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Subaru)
------Nissan
1. '96 Maxima SE, 5-speed / sunroof, 99k miles $4950
2. Various other Sentras / 200SX / Altimas / Maximas '95-'98 for under 5k
3. '95 300ZX Twin Turbo 5-sp, 61k miles, $4750 (prolly way too high of insurance, so I prolly won't consider this one)
4. Various Nissan Pickups / Pathfinders '95+ with less than 100k (lower gas mileage / maybe high ins) ... this would come in handy when I need to ship things or do anything else, but I am not sure about higher costs of fuel and insurance. Any ideas how much a nissan pickup SE 4wd or pathfinder se v6 would have on a 20 year old male insurance?

----- Toyota
1. '96 Avalon, 90k miles, loaded $4995
2. Various Camrys / Corrollas / Tercels / Paseos 95+ for under $5,000 with less than 100k
3. '97 Tacoma 2WD, 5peed, big tires, 80k miles $4750 (once again, a pickup truck...will it hurt insurance / gas?)

-----Honda
1. Various Civics / Accords / couple Preludes 95+ with less than 100k for $5k
-----
-----Subaru
1. Various Legacys / Outbacks / Imprezas 95+ with less than 100k for $5k --- AWD is good, but how does this impact gas mileage / insurance...
