B!tch all you want, but none of your cars will even come close to that srt-4. It's not still a neon, I don't think neons are turbocharged.

For 5800 you multiply his ET by 1.0773
He runs a 14.8 up here at Bandimere speedway. My truck runs a 14.9 while in 4x4 (If only I could hook up and run in 2wd). Two years ago when I ran my 14.9 I also had the stock 21# injectors on it, I could not tune it like this guy did. This year I have 30# injectors from the 8.1 liter, It's going to be fun to finally have the fuel system to really open her up

meh, people who do this kind of crazy sh!t to their cars, are prepared to pay the consequences... which is why i don't plan on boosting my car unless i get a 2nd car first.
okay wonderful, he sprays water or something on to the intercooler. Cheater!

I think you're neglecting that the 14.8 was stock...
Oh, and he must be a sh!tty driver to get a 14.8 in a SRT-4, they should run high 13's/low 14's.

The thing about oxygen is the higher you go up in altitude the less there isBandimere speedway is on the side of a mountain
we have 30% less oxygen on the side of that hill on a good day

How's that cheating? Spraying either distilled water or a alcohol mix on the intercooler to get a few extra degrees out of it is no big deal, let alone the results are negligible.
People can dis this car as much as they want, but until they drive one their opinions are meaningless. The suspension is pretty damn solid, the interior is a HELL of a lot nicer than a freaking cavalier (ahem tyco interior), and the semi-racing seats are a nice touch. The throttle response on this car is amazing, the engine was designed rock solid, and with a few extra bucks (like <20$) and some basic knowledge you can essentially tune the thing to push quite a few more horses, and boost higher and quicker while still being safe. Neons are widely praised in the SCCA, and have a reputation in autocross, so saying 'its a neon' is as retarded as it would be to compare a v6 mustang to a cobra.

I have to side with ThePerculator on this one. As a driver of a 2003 Neon SXT I have to say the neon is probably one of the best handling cars in the "Economy Class". My buddy's 2002 Civic Si can barely keep up with me when driving for fun. Sure the interior isn't a pretty as the Corolla or the Civic. But Dodge cut the cost on the interior and developed the suspension a lot more. Cars like the Corolla, the Cavalier, and the Nissan sentra have nice interiors (except the cavalier) but all three of them have live axles on the rear wheels.

FWD car with a "live axle(s) on the rear wheels?"
I think we can safely ignore you now.

I'd give it a good run in my standard MY00 230hp Impreza. AWD launches PWN Front wheel drive.
