Still haven't been to one of these... can't believe they don't have any locations in NY. I'm definitely not venturing into NJ for just a burger either. Actually, I'm not venturing into NJ for a damn thing...

They used to. They had a location in Amherst and a few others along the NY Thruway that I know of. Fuddruckers filed chapter 11 a couple years ago which had them close down the NY locations.

I don't think I've ever been to Fuddruckers. If they're so good, why are so many posters talking about one's that closed in their area?

I have on about 5-mins from my house. I have always loved Fuddruckers. My wife doesn't like them but both my children do so we go and leave the wife at home. There is also a Habit right across the street from it.

Because people are morons (why they closed down) it wouldn't suprise me at all if a Fudd closed down in an area but the 4 McDonalds near it all stayed open. MCD's claims "American's favorite fries" and I literally can't think of a fry I like less.

Fudd also is a sit down place with not instant service because everything is made fresh to order. A lot of people need their burgers instantly. I have eaten Burgers everywhere, even the uber overhyped Fathers Office, and I'll take Fudd over just about every place.

Smash Burger better than all chains I have access to IMO.

After that, Cheeseburger Bobby's.
