My roommate's g/f is over all the time. I really don't care that much except for crap like this:
I come home from work today (he has no job btw) after a 10 hour day. I recently purchased a 57 inch tv. It seems like either he or she is ALWAYS watching it. It is very rare that I can sit down and watch tv. She's watching american idol, and I would like to watch family guy (on dvd). He is not here.. just her (and she doesn't pay rent)


Would you be bothered? He has a tv for her to watch.. Then again I have my own tv as well.


What would you do?


I went downstairs and was like "sucks but I want to watch independence day"

her: "are you serious!????"
me: "rob's got a tv in his room, you can go watch that"


she stormed off. (I decided I wanted to watch independence day instead)

update:

I saw him last night and this morning and he didn't say a word to me about it. I'm 99.999% sure she told him what happened. I think he knew who was in the right and chose not to say anything....

I would be pissed off. I would change the channel to whatever you want to watch. She'll get over it.

I would just ask her if she would want to watch it with you and if not then say that you are gonna watch it anyways and she can go use one of the other ones...there doesnt have to be controversy over it...really not that big of a deal, and no it wouldnt be rude

More worried about it being rude to my roommate.. I dunno.
