Hey everyone,
Just putting together a system for a friend and it's using a CoolerMaster DP5-6J31C
http://www.coolermaster.com/products/cpucooler/fcpga/dp5-6j31c.html
Everything seems to run fine, but man it's running right at 60C.
Am I missing something here? The description says it's adequate for a XP2100.
This was the temp with the side panel off the case. The case doesn't have any other fans installed.
Case temp was 95F.
It's not going to be overclocked during it's use at all, just a machine for a college student to do some work on and burn some cds, that is about it.
Can you recommend any other HSF that I should use if this setup appears it is not going to cut it.
I'm trying to keep total cost as low as possible, but still provide adequate cooling to keep it stable. Again this system will never be overclocked.
Thanks for any help or advice you can give in this matter. I appreciate it.
