What are good temps for the overclocks?

I have my AthlonXP 1600 @ 1522(10.5x145) right now...
45/46C idle, 48C under load.
1.75V
Thermalright SK6 with Ys Tech Fan.

Think I should push it higher?

Oh yeah, I'm using 512MB Mushkin Special RAM, so that might be my limiting factor...

I'm not sure ,maybe 1 contact is poor? ,or maybe you have bridged some contacts you weren't supposed to?.Look closely with a magnifying glass.
Failing that go to Tomshardware & read his unlocking the XP guide & see ifv you can pick up any clues there

Though different m/brds will show different temps for the same cpu ,your temps are well within range:).So go for it & see what you can get outta that;)
Just bear in mind that if you go over 150MHz area that your PCI bus MHz is getting quite high

mine will run 1.6 at default voltage but any more and it requires me to boost volts to 1.85,which reads 1.9v in hardware monitor.i unlocked it to se if it was my buss holding me back but ended up at around the same place.oh well good enough for now.i guess my cII566 and p3700 spoiled me.i could really run them alot harder.

I just finished putting mine together. Abit KR7A raid, XP1600, 2-256 sticks of Crucial PC2100 cas 2.5
I gave up on trying to unlock L1 as I'm don't seem be be steady enough to do it. Running the fsb@156 x10.5 =1638 seems rock stable. I can get the fsb to 160 upping the core and ram voltage but stability suffers. I guess I'll either get brave and try unlocking the L1 again or learn to be happy with 1638. does anyone want to volunteer to unlock the L1's for me? :) Just kidding...sorta

Thanx Assimilator1
I backed off on the memory timings as you suggested and I now have my XP1500+ super stable@10X150=1.5GHZ :) As others have noted, this CPU will do substantialy more with multipliers unlocked but I'm very happy with it as is.

I'm running a 1600xp ( 1.4) at 1900 ( 1.614), 10.5 X 153 fsb. My cpu v set to 1.84v, pc2100 ram v set to 2.53v

1600XP @ 1.614 Gzh
Epox 8KHA+
Crucial 256mb PC2100 --2
Thermoengine w/ YSTech 60mm fan ducted to outside
CPU core @ 1.84v
DDR ram @ 2.53v

I think my sb pci128 card is holding me back from a higher fsb, going to try removing it and the nic to see...:)
