XP or 2000?

My impression after a few years with Win2k and having just recently built a new machine that is running XP Pro is that XP is not quite as reliable, but once I get the interface tweaked the way I like it (to overcome Microsoft's "user-friendliness") I prefer XP anyway. I momentarily considered installing win2k on this machine too but I just couldn't see going back a generation when XP is already nearing replacement. I guess a lot of it comes down to how you define "better."

I don't really see a reason to not use XP. It does everything that Win2k did for me (and believe me, I was diehard win2k for years), and just tends to work better, especially with driver support. Now if you had an old, slow system, maybe win2k would be a better choice, but generally you can get XP to run just as fast anyway.
