$600 seems workable to me if it's on par with the iPad in terms of responsiveness and has similar to better features. I'll judge if I think it's worth $600 when I play with one at Best Buy when they get them.
$800 seemed a stretch, $1200 was ludicruous.
The iPad seemed stupid and overpriced to me when I first heard about it, but once I tried one in a store, I really liked it and now I use it more than my desktop for surfing and reading at nights. $500 seemed like a lot, but given how often I use mine, I end up wishing I'd at least paid for the GPS option (WiFi version has no GPS).
Your thoughts mirror mine. $600 wifi version works for me if this tablet delivers the good. I don't need the cell radio as I always have my phone and can tether. I don't need GPS as I'm used to having bad GPS (Galaxy S
