XFX is total crap...

Are you guys sure that I could hook up a BFG to my XFX in SLI mode? Is the connector in the exact same slot so that the bridge will nicely slip into both cards?

Whoa! You guys keep digging this thing up from the edge of nothingness 😉 😛

Anyway, Heinrich, I'm sure that you can do it. In fact, from what I've heard, all you would need to do is BIOS flash one of the cards to match the other one. Assuming they're both the exact same (i.e. in terms of DVI\VGA ports, TV-Out, etc.) you should be able to do it without any problems. Give it a try 🙂 .

Ironic the 3dMark record was just broken with 2 XFX cards in a Liquid nitrogen SLI setup. Guess they got good cards? 😕

I doubt they couldn't hit it with a couple Leadtek cards.

It turned out that the number on the USA site was for a Japanese phone number. After much frustration trying to figure out what the guy on the other end of the phone was saying in Ingrish,

Errr, the guy is just trying to do his job? His accent is different than yours because he's from another part of the world.

Like it or not, it's a global economy now, and you can't always deal with Cletus down the block.

I can appreciate frustration communicating with someone who is difficult to understand, but it's the way of it for many companies.

Yeah.

But most of us will pay more to be able to speak with Cletus down the block instead of the part-time soccer ball factory employee in india.
Hence the popularity of BFG.

Its not racist to complain about poor english.

Maybe they need to improve their English?

It IS a global economy, but unfortunately for everyone else.. ENGLISH is the language of business.

Having poor English is just something that will hurt a company in the long run if they want American customers who are getting sick and tired of el-cheapo non-english tech support.

Its amazing to me how racism (or REAL racism) used to mean discriminating based on ones skin tone.

NOW racism is thrown around when ppl get sick of companies not providing English speaking tech support to the USA.. WHERE THOSE COMPANIES INTEND TO SELL THINGS AND PROFIT OFF OF. 😉

Well, it wont work. Look at BFG's popularity, I believe they are based in Illinois.

Racism has nothing to do with ones inability to accept poor tech support who do not provide proper english speaking team members.

Not to sound like an a$$, but if you were calling to japan you should of had to dial o11-81 + the number. It should not have been a 1 -800 number that connected you to japan. But either way it stinks that it had to happen.

Well, it was either Japan or China. Don't know, and don't care, which one it was. The fact is, their tech support sucked a$$. Period. End of story.

Housecat, I couldn't have said it any better. You are right in saying that their techies should speak at least proper English, especially if they are going to sell in English speaking countries. That, to me, is one of their biggest problems.
