XFX 4870 1GB $109.6 + shipping

Would this be better deal then paying $40 more for the 4890?

'In on this, guess I keep my extra $40 for a while longer'

FYI: Ewiz does not have a real inventory system, so they may oversell (with a history of not providing Back orders). They also have negative reviews for customer service. Obviously both are not an issue if your product ships, it works out of the box with no issue, and you never require customer service.

"

Edit:
Corrected the drop shipper statement. They lack a real time inventory system and in the past over sold and did not allow back orders, but after cancelling orders the product reappeared several days later at a different price.

Blatantly untrue. Everything I've ordered from them comes directly from THEIR warehouse. Granted, they're no Newegg when it comes to shipping, but they don't drop ship and their inventory system isn't up-to-the-minute, but it is updated daily.

Newegg and ZZF have had their shares of complaints over the years too. Your point? (Just look on the AT forums for people ranting about Newegg)

As long as you're not expecting white glove service with toilet paper served on a gold platter to wipe your whiny ass, you'll do just fine with eWiz/Superbiiz.

I've used Ewiz for my flash and memory parts quite often and they've been fine. I just hope I don't run into any bad situation with them in the future. This deal is great. I'm really tempted to grab two.

Well, I've ordered from eWiz/SuperBiiz a couple different times now and had absolutely no issues with their products or shipping.

I've never had a problem with ewiz/newbiz/superbiz
ordered probably 5-10 times from them.

It's actually closer to $30 difference, since you have to pay shipping on the 4870, and not on the 4890.

Back up to $145, so about $123.50 before shipping.

Should I be concerned that the P/N Ewiz lists doesn't show up on XFX's website? Or could/is it just a typo?

I've bought from eWiz this past week. Be careful when you purchase from them. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. I bought a Sapphire 4870 video card from them that doesn't really play well with my monitor and they will not allow me to return or exchange the card unless it is defective. I didn't care if they charged me a restocking fee but they refused to allow me to return it do to incompatibility issues. If it is defective you need to pay for the shipping & handling. If it is not defective the item must be new and unopened and they charge a 15% restocking fee for new items.

Price went up then OOS and now link is gone, at least for me right now. Was hoping to wait til this afternoon to consider but oh well 🙁

Curious about this, too. It's a pretty cheap upgrade from my 4870 512MB either way, so I might bite.

I've spent more than $45,000 with ewiz since June 2005 and never had any major problems, and I continue buying from them.
