FYI: Ewiz is a drop shipper with no real time inventory system.

Blatantly untrue. Everything I've ordered from them comes directly from THEIR warehouse. Granted, they're no Newegg when it comes to shipping, but they don't drop ship and their inventory system isn't up-to-the-minute, but it is updated daily.

They also have negative reviews for customer service. Obviously both are not an issue if your product ships, it works out of the box with no issue, and you never require customer service.

Newegg and ZZF have had their shares of complaints over the years too. Your point? (Just look on the AT forums for people ranting about Newegg)

As long as you're not expecting white glove service with toilet paper served on a gold platter to wipe your whiny ass, you'll do just fine with eWiz/Superbiiz
.

Huge difference.

Newegg BBB Rating: A
http://www.la.bbb.org/business...spx?companyid=13146135

Zipzoomfly BBB Rating: A

http://www.bbb.org/greater-san...com-in-newark-ca-26523

Ewiz BBB Rating: F
http://sanjose.bbb.org/busines....aspx?companyid=219269
"Our opinion of what this rating means:
We strongly question the company?s reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law?s licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company?s industry is known for its fraudulent business practices. "

I've spent more than $45,000 with ewiz since June 2005 and never had any major problems, and I continue buying from them.

Customer since 2005 to ewiz, until 2008 when I experienced multiple issues and this is when I discovered the negative history of this company. Obviously if your don't need customer support, and your product is shipped without issue, then your good. Otherwise the ratings show you might be in for some grief.

BTW, those are not my statements above but the Better Business Bureu. I never filed a complaint with the BBB, but you can see others have.

If you choose to ignore it, so be it. Just wanted to give an FYI.

Some people have said that ewiz doesn't pay bing if there is a coupon involved. I have not been able to confirm.

I've bought a good deal of stuff from ewiz...even back before they changed their name. (I think they were knowledgewave?) They aren't super fast like newegg and their website isn't fantastic, but I haven't ever had any problems with them. And I've even had to return a few items for various reasons. I believe hoy128's story though, I could see that happening with them.

How do you get the bing cashback?

Bing Cashback

Thank you for your worthless post.

I already found it, but for everyone else, here's the link.

$10 shipping..I am on the fence. Hm.

How was Insomniator's post worthless? He showed you where you could have typed it in and received the information in the fastest manner possible.

I just got my payment today from bing/live cashback from a coupon deal for the 4890.

Been back and forth on this card, finally decided to bite the bullet. 4870 was what I went for, at $130 shipped before ~7 cashback, seems like a pretty good deal. Like the sounds of the warranty, and while I have never used a Video card warranty, I always look for them just in case. Now I just hope that SuperBiiz is better than the BBB indicates. Seems as though enough people on here have a positive experience with them.

BTW, upgrading from a Sapphire 3870 that is currently for sale.

That's a quite nice step up, the performance difference is outstanding, specially when Anti Aliasing is used.

Mine's been stuck in "Warehouse" since last week. Sigh. Going to call them and see if they actually have the card in stock. Don't have my bing cash back yet either. Something smells fishy here.

That's what I'm hoping. My 3870 ain't bad, but I do have to turn off some stuff to get the smoothness I look for. And reading about the CCC's fan control mechanism has me thinking that I can get this, and keep it cool without making my rig sound like a turbine.

What date did you order yours? (I still have a cancel button available, so I'm not sure if I should just do that and look elsewhere?)

Just got off the phone with ewiz and they do have the parts in stock but just haven't shipped yet. I don't have a cancel button for this order, it's gone through already. Now to check why I haven't seen my bing cash :/

Just curious when you put your order through, as if it was last week... that would seem like someone was dragging their feet in processing the order. I could understand a day or two, but it seems as if it has been much longer than that for you.

Friday morning of last week :D Total price for me was $140 without Bing (cause it hasn't shown up yet). A little more but it's ok as long as I get it. The CS told me it'll be ship out today so here's hoping. Oh and she did say they have "plenty" of the XFX 4870 in stock!

Their system is weird though. Some of my completed orders are listed as "Order Processing", some are "shipped" and the video care as "Warehouse." None shows as Completed or Delivered :)

Okay, here's my scoop. Just recently received a message from eWiz that they could not verify my shipping address (my work address is easier for me to receive packages). So I cancelled the order, then went back to re-order, and the free shipping was gone, as was the sizzle 15 discount. Adds about $30 to the re-order I was going to do on a different card. Went ahead and called just now, and while their CS doesn't speak English fluently, she (without any question other than verifying my name and invoice number) gladly re-opened my old invoice, and allowed me to work through the issue with payment (verifying the separate address through my CC company) and now is re-processing my order for the original amount. (Price is up now, as is the shipping and the loss of the discount for those still looking for this deal)

I must say, I am very pleased thus far with their company, despite the weird policy of having to verify the shipping address. Guess it is more protection for me, so I have no problem with them trying to ensure no one fraudulently makes charges on a card that is not their own. Also, as far as ratings go, most people through froogle seem to rate this company quite high. I can only guess the BBB claims come from individuals who aren't following their purchase policies properly.

I don't know of any major credit card that does not protect the cardholder from fraudulent charges. The vendor is just covering their side of the transaction. The likely are more protected if they only ship to "official" addresses.

That's kind of what I meant. Most I have dealt with always require the billing address, and allow for a separate shipping address, regardless of the link to the card. If I were to buy flowers for a loved one, I wouldn't expect to have to have my fiance's work address registered to my card just so I could ship something there. I was just looking at that as though they were really covering their back-sides. I have no problem with it, just the first time I have ever come across it. Newegg has no problems with me shipping to my work address, which was never before listed as an alternate address on my CC.
