Yeah why isn't Fallout 3 an option?

I ended up getting Mass Effect. I hope to play it in a little while.

As for other options .... I paid $30 for Mass Effect. Not that I wouldn't pay more but if given two wonderful options and one costs $30 and one costs $60, the answer is obvious.

Yeah, the only RPG that comes close to being a traditional RPG with co-op is Fable II. And even that has its limitations and caveats.

Ultimate Marvel Alliance is probably the kind of RPG you're thinking of for this generation.

just finished Mass Effect; amazing. Easily top 10 of all time.

also 3 times as long as Fable 2

Fable 2, Mass Effect, Tales of Vesperia are all high on my list. Lost Odyssey was meh with a good story. Oblivion was meh with lots to do but a mediocre story (i got bored with it). Fallout 3 is supposed to be good but I haven't tried it yet.

The Last Remnant is coming on 11/20. Star Ocean is coming on 3/3.

I have to disagree on Infinite Undiscovery. Probably just because of the battle system.

I played both. I usually hat space themed games but, LOVED mass effect. I can't wait for mass effect 2!!!

Or what you could do is just download SSF and play Dragon Force on the Sega Saturn. Best RPG ever!!!!
