<rant>My refurb ATE my segaGT disk today. I pushed eject and it opened without the disk. I pushed eject again and it started making a lot of weird noises. Hit it again, and the POS got started going nuts. Now the tray is stuck open and the disk is lodged deep within the realms of my xbox.

Let's see ... two weeks to deliver, missing my breakaway cable, came dirty as hell, broke in 2 days ... this stupid thing is going back and I'm gonna wait for the price drop.</rant>

Ouch, that's horrible. I hope the return goes well. I guess I just got lucky with the Xbox I received from Overstock.

Overstock isn't a bad company really. I've had a LOT of problems with this unit and they've offered solutions to all of them. They are paying for shipping back and crediting my account for the full amount (no restocking fee). They also gave me a $15 in-store credit for sega gt ... which I guess techinically they aren't accountable for "eaten" games, so that's something.

Anyway, if anybody has problems with their unit, call overstock up, they are helpful and willing to work things out with you.

I got mine today too !

Unfortunately it would not boot at all. The light flashes red and yellow as soon as I switch it on.

The unit was fairly okay with some visible signs of abuse.

The contoller and the other cords were decent.
