Forza 5? Forza Horizon 2? Titanfall? Halo MCC? Killer Instinct? Sunset Overdrive? Have you been under a rock for the past year? There's only one obvious fanboy in this thread. 🙄
nope ... we are the trolls in here, remember?

I still am not interested in either X1 or PS4. I am actually starting to get somewhat interested in the Wii U though...
I keep holding out thinking something will blow me away on these 'next gen' machines. Just isn't happening yet. Then again, seriously way too many games to play these days :/
2014 was a rather slow year for great games, especially compared to the past several, so it made the first full year of "next gen: ownership rather ho hum.
That combined with that initial "hangover" period in near-launch games that (usually because they're also developed for previous generation hardware) feel like a slight bump over the previous gen. :\
Here's hoping for more from 2015.
Of course, that is subjective. I have found more than enough games to keep me busy. But yeah, I can see where others don't feel the same way.2014 was a rather slow year for great games, especially compared to the past several, so it made the first full year of "next gen: ownership rather ho hum.

Sounds good, enjoy it 🙂Thanks for the response everyone! I ended up joining the master race again, I'm building a sick pc. Parts should arrive tomorrow. 290x and 3770k, 1440p lps 27" monitor.
You should get an Xbox 360 wireless controller + USB wireless dongle for the PC. Xbox One controller only supports a wired connection. Nice to not have a leash.I really considered an Xbox One. Then I realized i can buy an Xbox One controller for my PC. All the games I want are on Steam, so yea...no Xbox for me.
Either way, my wife banishes me to the ManCave when I want to play games, so I guess an Xbox would be better if you're into having friends over playing on the TV or something like that 🙂

I dont remember my Xbox 1 controller coming with a cable. I do remember getting one that's very long with the play and charge kit.Yeah, but at the same time, that wireless dongle costs a decent bit more, no? Plus, the Xbox One PC controller comes with an 8- or 9-foot cable, so you're really not tethered close to anything, unless you're talking playing on an HTPC in a living room, from a couch. I personally have my PC in my room, where the tower's only a couple of feet from where I sit and play, and I'd prefer the superior controller as a result.

It comes with a short 4-inch cable for firmware updates...the longer cable comes with the play and charge kit.
The One's controller does not. However, they sell a special PC version of the controller for $60 that comes with the cable, though IDK if it comes with any batteries (either the Play & Charge's battery or the standard AA's).

Neither of my One controllers came with a cable (one with the console, other the Titanfall one).

Hey, so I am close to biting on a xbox one for around 300 dollars. My question is if there isn't any particular game that Im dying to play, is it worth it to wait for the next version of the console to come out? Like a slim version or a die shrink etc? I tried doing some research on it but came up short.
If there isn't any console update anytime soon then I'll just buy it now since I doubt the price will drop below 300 anytime soon.
